Anyone who's been to Auburn, how was it?

I'm only one state away, but I've only ever done that trip for baseball, never for football. Thinking about pulling the trigger this year, how have your experiences on the Plains been?

I hear RoundUp is illegal in the area of some trees on campus.

I'm not planning on killing any trees there, don't worry

Been only once in 2010. Lost to Cam Newton. That sucked. Other than that….great campus, great game day experience, treated fairly well….I’d recommend it.

ETA: lost to Nick Fairly too. He and Cam were crazy dominant that day.

One of the best road trips you can make. Downtown and Toomers corner is great.
Awesome tailgating.

Ive seen LSU play at Auburn 4 times in the last 20 years or so. I think think the first time was 1998.

We’ve won them all and its a great place to check out.

Never seen LSU at Bama, ever. Is that a good trip?

Went in 2018. It was a great trip. We won at the end and Auburn fans took it in stride.if you hate Bama you are treated well. All the roads and traffic are set up for easy game day driving.
The eagle ceremony is cool.

I've been to Bama once, in 2017. The game itself sucked, but the tailgating and overall experience was still great. I think the Bama fans who actually go to the games are great, as opposed to the sidewalk fans.

Been Twice. It’s awesome. We won both times so that helped. Lol.

Imagine if Alabama and Georgia were brother and sister, and had a baby. That child would be Auburn.

I went back in 2014 when LSU got their shite kicked in. Everything but the game was great. I was a junior in college and we went to Sky Bar 3 nights in a row. It seemed to be the only bar people went to around there but it was massive and a good time. Tailgating was nice and one of the louder away stadiums I’ve ever been to

It’s a good trip. Typical SEC college town. Not a ton to do outside of college bars. Super friendly people.

Great welcome from fans. Very nice people. Tailgating experience is very corporate. Lots of finger sandwiches and boring fried chicken with chips and cookies. Basically the OM "Grove experience" without the nonworking chandeliers and the drunk frat guys/girls walking around in the mud(if it rains any). Campus is lovely and fun to watch their version of "Tiger walk" from a distance. Recommend you going.

Been a few times most recently 16 and 18.

Nicest fans in the SEC(Vandy doesn't count).
"Hi, Welcome to Auburn!" is a real thing, you'll see.

The Eagle (use to be either Nova or Spirit) flying before the game is bad arse.

It'll be fun. Always a great away game trip for us LSU fans.

So basically, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". We're both in the SEC West, but hate Bama together. Works for me.

Great atmosphere, second only to Tiger Stadium in my mind.

It's a real good time. But the Aubbies are almost too nice, feels weird for an SEC school

I've been 4 times as well and we've lost all 4 including the pass interference game. Never going back. Campus is nice though. Great golf between BR and there too.
