The only fight I’ve seen up close at an LSU game was after an LSU/Tulane game in the Dome. It was a very straightforward 2 v 2 fight. One LSU guy knocked the Tulane fan to the ground and told him to “stay there”, which he did. The other two went at it a little longer and the LSU guy came out on top. All 4 walked away while the crowd chanted LSU! LSU!

Seems quaint nowadays.

Arrested guy will always remember November 5th but for different reasons than us. Dude on the ground may never remember November 5th.

False. This is bullshite. Some people deserve an absolute life-changing arse-whipping. Or are you going to sit here and tell me Adolf Hitler didn't deserve at least that?

Two drunk assholes at an lsu game is literally Hitler? This is the mindset of one group.

You don’t beat on someone who’s on the ground and can no longer defend themselves.

I agree generally, but the dude apparently recovered well enough to get back up and start fighting the police. We don't know any of the backstory here, but in my opinion the dude who ends up taking a swing at the cops after a public brawl is usually the one out of control.

Is "dronkies" a contraction of drunk honkies? Sounds like one of those guys got grabby with one of the other guy's girls. IOW, he FA&FO.

Fighting with police officers will generally get you hooked up.

No reasonable self defense includes continually throwing haymakers on a guy down on his hands and knees. Looks like all 4 should have been arrested.

Well 3. The other dude we don’t see how he knocked the guy out.

You’re right about self defense in a legal sense. But practically this is what happens.

Had I been there I would have tried to stop him and probably would have gotten knocked tf out.

If someone died we would know that by now. He was probably passed out drunk

For all we know he's playing possum. He wants nothing of what his friend is having so he figured he'd just play dead and avoid the whole thing.

What does that have to do with a fight between drunks outside of Tiger Stadium. That's quite a stretch, Armstrong.

I just think the assumption is a little ridiculous, especially given the crime statistics in Baton Rouge.

Being killedat a RR crossing, robbed or shot near campus. NO THANKS.

It wasn’t near campus. There is a “ghetto” north of campus but that’s not where this happened. The neighborhood north of campus was just was bad when I was in school I’m the 80s. A student was killed in The Bengal parking lot across the street from the police station.

I actually lived “in the hood” near where this girl was killed at that RR crossing in these really cool duplexes a little old lady lived. We had trash coming by on occasion but tbh our black neighbors were like guardian angels. They didn’t put up with that shite and actually protected us on occasion. Nothing ever happened to us or our cars.

as opposed to your assumption based on race (like you did in the other thread about the lsu president) you can hear the crowd here in the video saying it was the white guys who started it.

I was a student at LSU when that happened. She was stabbed to death in front of her twin sister during a robbery right outside of the bar. Very sad. There was also Cassie Federer who was murdered in her apartment near Park Boulevard (not too far from campus) back in the '90's and how can we forget Derrick Todd Lee killing a couple of LSU students?

Wasn’t that like the 80’s or am I thinking of something different?

Without being there and seeing what started the fight it is hard to make any kind of judgement. The big white guy looked smashed. But it was still hard watching him get beaten on his hands and knees. But I have seen people get up and continue fighting when someone stopped hitting them. The guy probably was so drunk he would have continued fighting if he stood back up.

I hope black guy in yellow got arrested too. Don't care what happened to cause the fight. Hitting someone like that while they're down is deadly,
This, I'm somewhat of a formidable person, but once the other guy is no longer capable of causing harm STOP.

Right. The north gates ghetto has been dangerous for at least 40 years.

The midcity/downtown area where the girl was murdered was just as dangerous 40 years ago. Like I said, I lived there.

I think what happened there was one or two thugs walking saw a chance to hijack/kidnap/rape and beautiful young girl, attempted to do so, she tried to escape and the POS shot her down.

But anyway had nothing to do with the fight yesterday.
