He's wrong about November though. He probably didn't look at the schedule close enough.

Everything else I'm OK with.

Nobody said anything about winning 9 games did they?
Finishing #9 puts us at 2 losses probably. Given the last 12 years, how could anyone argue with that 'prediction'?

To get "respect" all you have to do is earn it.

The man and every Tiger fan has seen the playbook.

The question is can LM grow....we'll see. Hopes are high.

Who cares? Is it impossible to believe LSU' passing game improves and we go 11-1 or 12-0? Is it also impossible to believe we don't and go 8-4? Neither is crazy.

So, so many posts on what people "think." Some will guess right. Just guesses. Always guesses. Why get upset either way?

Either way, some people will pump their chests at season's end, but they didn't know. No one does.

This line of thinking is just silly and easily argued against. What does one year have to do with the next? It could be argued that with no changes in player personnel, coaches or anything else that a prior years outcome would be the same the following. Then take into consideration the many changes that there are and your point is moot.

Did anyone expect then to only win 10 games the year after they won 13? How about only winning 8 the year after winning 12?

I'm here to tell you both happened, and both happened during that same 12 year span you speak of.

Previous years are not predictors of years to follow.

Agreed. I've never understood the obsession with pre-season predictions, polls, or All-American picks. Not a single game has been played. Everything is a guess.

I enjoy football season because I like, you know, watching the actual games. All the other gibberish from pundits, pollsters, etc. is just noise. It adds nothing to my enjoyment of the season.

Just watch the games and enjoy. Leave the nonsense to others.

You realize that means he thinks we finish at number 9 this year, which is an ok finish. Better than last year

What do you expect? We have all of the talent. We have to prove we can put it together. Stop listening to pre-season azz kissers who have us in the top 4. Not everybody that shites on you isn't your enemy. Not everybody who pats you on the back is a friend.

In all honesty he said the reason we were low was because we have a brutal stretch in late October and November, and our QB has been less than stellar.

I mean he and everyone else is going off what they have seen from LSU the last few years and most of the fans mad at this prediction is going off the eye test.

If LSU gets better OL and DL play, Brandon Harris plays better, and we get through our brutal 4-5 game stretch then cowherd will be wrong, if we don't then he will be correct.

It's up to LSU to shut up him and the other critics. It's time to step up or shut up.

Dak Prescott as a Redshirt Freshman had a very similar stat-line to Brand Harris as a true Sophomore.. and he had a college QB guru offensive coach.

Dak was actually not better than Brandon Harris has been until his RS Jr. season(2014). I agree that Harris still appears to have plenty of upside. Look around the SEC. Brandon would be the starter of at least half the teams in the conference and none of them have Fournette behind them.

said LSU isn't winning the conference because you can't do it with a run game and defense alone.

Well, apparently he hasn't watched Bama steamroll through this conference with a run game and defense alone since Saban arrived in Tuscaloosa.
