Taylor Zarzour said this morning LSU is the most talented team from top to bottom and should be in the playoffs even if Harris is only a little better. So if you care about media opinions you gotta take the good with the bad. Nationally, people don't think Miles can change his offense to look like a modern day team. They don't trust our QB because it's been bad for 7/8 years now. You gotta prove it on the field to shut them up. You can't get mad at it when they have a point.

But we had a credible passing attack in 2011, at least up until Bama. Thru 8 games (after which he rarely saw the field), Jarrett Lee had a 62% completion percentage, 13 TDs and 1 pick (he had 2 more against Bama). 152 rating, best in the SEC I believe.

We didn't throw it a lot in 2011, but when we did, we were very effective. That opens up the run game.

Whoever Hail to Michigan is need to worry about his own school and conference and matter of fact Michigan just became relevant just last year so I say Lsu got a much better chance to make the playoff than Michigan. Lsu been consistent every year for years can Michigan fans say the same. Well NO THEY CAN'T!!

Not a big fan of this line of thinking. This is not the team of 5 years ago, 3 years ago or even last year. Many things DO change from year to year.

I think the majority on here who have differing opinions of Collin do so because of the perception that this year's team is stacked, because of coaching change, because of the amount of overall players that are coming back on both sides of the ball, because said players are a year older and will be more experienced, do have lots of talent in the opinions of many experts, etc...

Given that, it's easy to see that this team should compete well and perhaps even do so for a NC.

For these reasons, many people believe Collin is out of line with his prediction, and perhaps even rightfully so.

He said potential losses not 4 game losing streak. He put LSU in his top 10 and said they had more talent than any team not named Alabama. That's hardly disrespect or you are just drinking way too much of the kool aid.

After getting blown out 3 straight sec games while looking as competitve as Vandy in the process, you have to think LSU has got earn it and show it this year; because on paper you could make the case for LSU every year.

I listen to him often enough to know that he thinks lsu is one of the top 3 teams in college ??. If you can look past the arrogance and contention this guy actually puts out well thought ideas.
