Nope. Bregman and rhymes haven't played well this post season.

How about McMullin? I can't even remember the last time he got a hit.

I'd love to say yes, but until we show we can string a few hits together in a large ballpark I'm going to have to say no.

McMullen hasn't looked good in a while. He looks like he isn't seeing the ball well. Why not dh Tyler Moore?

Tuesday? Try Monday.

I'll be alright tomorrow since LSU is still alive, but if we lose to UNC Tuesday, I may take a sick day Wednesday.

All you people who say "LSU is no doubt the best team in Omaha", how do you really know that?

Try not to be so damn bias.

You do realize other schools have good baseball. They have fans, a stadium, facilities, recruiting, ect.

Have you really watched every team in Omaha and then based your opinion that LSU is best, based on that?

From what I saw today LSU couldn't do shite.

Is that really the best team?

if we get to the semifinals, our chances are decent, better if we face UCLA (which i would prefer to knock them out). NC state is a tough team and rodon is a beast.

Id have to say Lsu is best built to do of the 4 teams., you have the arms to get it done and you wont face anyone's ace again. Unfortunately my Beavs are looking at a really tall task with 3 arms, 1 of which just threw 105 pitches...

Edit- you wont face anyones ace until friday, but at that point both teams are facing elimination and you likely will be dealing Nola...

Yes, especially after beating UNC on tuesday. Just get through this side of the bracket and everything will be great.

I think we're the best team here but I'm not too confident we win it all. We're not hitting that well and when your in the losers bracket, you have to score runs because pitching will be thin.

I don't understand this at all.

LSU just beat the shite out of OU right? Like literally the game before the last?

Tell me who had more hits tonight. UCLA or LSU?

LSU doesn't hit starting ACES very well.. but those are OUT the window now.. This tourney is more about bull pen arms. UNC's SUCKS arse. And LSU's is the best IMHO.

I would be more worried about LSU making errors than not hitting in this one game. This really reminds me of the Arkansas game we lost in the SEC tournament. Did that stop us? Did that mean we couldn't hit? No, we came back and won. We beat UNC tuesday their bitch arse are = GONE. ELIMINATED.

UCLA has no more ace. UCLA did not out hit.. UCLA did not out play us. We gave them the game with 2 unearned runs and poor managing. That can and will be corrected. As long as LSU doesn't have to see the ace from NC St.. they are in great shape with a win Tuesday. Which is highly likely.

3 teams in 32 years have lost game one and still won the title.

I said it once already. LSU has the arms and the hitting to come out the losers bracket. The only thing I am worried about is we will face either Rodon or Plutko on the way to the finals.

We have to win 4 games in 6 days. We have at least 4 capable starters on this team. This is very manageable.

The only question is is it better for NCstate or UCLA to stay in the winner's bracket. I say UCLA because we know plutko's game now and I think we can hit their closer.

Always give the team the sac and never get lead runner.

Also I don't understand why when you know the other team is about to bunt do you throw a fricking fastball right down the middle. Throw an offspeed pitch with some spin on it and try and get him to foul it off or pop it up. It makes no sense to let them advance the runner!
