Everyone saying it doesnt matter is retarded. If we are a 2 seed and win our regional and the number 1 or 2 seed in our pairing loses we just became a host of the super regionals

I just vividly remember during the times of the 2016 draft, this board:

Liked: Hield and Dunn a shite ton

Hated: Murray and Brown

Its just funny cus Murray and Brown are both 21 and already better than the other 2, who are both trash. You draft for ceiling and some people still don't understand that.
If Cousins wants out heres whatI would try and do:

Part 1:
S&T Demarcus Cousins + Pick 51 + 2020 2nd round pick (unprotected)

for

Otto Porter + Pick 15

Part 2:
Trade Pick 15 + Solomon Hill + Alexis Ajinca

for

John Collins + Kent Bazemore

Starting Lineup:
PG Rajon Rondo
SG Jrue Holiday
SF Otto Porter
PF Anthony Davis
C John Collins

Bench:
PG Frank Jackson
SG Etwaun Moore
SF Kent Bazemore
PF Nikola Mirotic
C Cheick Diallo

Reserves:
G Ian Clark
F Darius Miller
C Emeka Okafor

it's Jamal Murray by a city mile...
Jaylen Brown needs to go back to school, and learn to shoot.
He plays like Tyreke, and that is not the kind of starter that we need.

Ingram/Simmons/Hield/Dunn/Bender/Murray in that order...

If we are picking 7, and those 6 are gone... we take Jakob Poeltl over Jaylen Brown.
We might even take Poeltl over Murray at 6...

Cheick Diallo is a center. He just needs time to develop and get stronger. Think Clint Capela

We beat these pussys in 6 with Leonard. Is there anyway we can afford him, Jrue, AD and maybe Boogie?

absolutely but we cant acquire kawhi for just hill moore and a first.

Most shots falling just need good defense, AD to catch fire and less turnovers and we will be fine

My bad. I love to hate Westbrook.

He's still a monster though

He's a great talent who will probably never win because all he cares about is his statline

Like Westbrook? Maybe like Westbrook with a brain.

You might wanna go re-read what I said, Westbrook is a bum
still the coldest PG in the league. He can go out and get u 30/10 and not shoot the team out of the game like Westbrook
These are the games that mold teams into contenders. Do we come out flat and play like some pussies or do we bring the heat?

Pels by 2

The 76'ers have benched Covington. He would be a great fit.

Without a question. After they acquire Lebron they are gonna look for picks and expirings so they can then potentially flip those to bring back guys like JJ Redick, who fit beautifully with lebron and simmons.

And Covington would fit great with the Pelicans, he can rely on getting open and knocking down shots here and nothing else, where as he had more responsibility he couldnt match in philly. not to mention hes 6'9" and a great defender. Just your basic 3+D and do it well.

re: Need a big signing this offseason

Assets available for trade: Hill, Moore, Ajinca, picks

SF we will not be able to obtain(sign/trade):
Paul George
Lebron James
Joe Ingles
Kyle Anderson
Kawhi Leonard
OG Anonuby
Jason Tatum
Brandon Ingram

SF who are obtainable (sign/trade):

Demarre Carroll
Trevor Ariza
Thabo Sefolosha
PJ Tucker
Jeff Green

SF who could potentially become available (sign/trade):
Robert Convington (76ers would need to aquire James, Kawhi or George)
Otto Porter (Wizards would have to blow it up)
Will Barton (has to be a sign and trade)

My guess at plan of action:
1. Paul George (They will probably try to convince him that the Pelicans become an immediate title contender if he joins.) He turns us down for more money.
2. Otto Porter (They put out feelers with Washington, they probably want Mirotic or Cousins plus fillers and picks) We decline.
3. Robert Covington (I think Philly will land a premier SF and immediately shop Covington for the minimum of a 1st, a usable piece, plus fillers) This is the move i project the Pelicans make.
4. Demarre Carroll (I believe the Pelicans land Covington, but if they don't Carroll is probably next on the list and the Pelicans land him for Hill and a 1st).

Projection: Pelicans trade Hill, Ajinca, Diallo, our 2018 2nd, and a 2020 1st for Robert Covington.

Lineup:
Rondo (re-signs on a 2 year deal)
Holiday
Covington
Davis
Cousins (re-signs on a 2+1 year deal)

Dudes gonna be a .300 avg, 25 HR, 100 RBI guy in his prime, and will make the all star team several times and be a perennial top 5 MVP candidate along the way. What a talent
