I’m also sick of hearing, “the pride of Rosepine, Louisiana!” every time Frey is up.

You’ll feel a lot better when he pulls out his “there’s 108 stitches on a baseball, and I’ll tell you what, Dave, Frey touched all of ‘em.”

Feels like Rain Man is calling the game with how much Ben repeats himself. Anderson projects as a starter. 15 minutes to Wapner.

Two weeks in a row for someone who can’t be a homer is tough. ESPN should have sent a different crew this week

It’s like he’s overcompensating for the opposition since he’s an LSU guy…

I for sure got this vibe from Todd Walker but not Ben

This is 100% spot on. Take a shot every time Ben says, “What you have in the bullpen doesn’t always translate to the mound.”

Another one is, “You want to know how to tell when a pitcher is on? Watch where the catcher sets up his glove and see how close the pitcher is to hitting that spot.”

Ben's color is the best espn's got and remains impartial throughout although he wants to reps LSU and gives the average fan good information. I think he does a fine job tbh. Jmo though

Never said he does a bad job, just feel like he has to bend his back for the opposition since he’s an LSU guy….

Some of y’all have some reading comprehension issues…

It’s amazing how many people incorrectly say “bias” instead of “biased.”

I read you perfectly. I hope i didnt come off as me saying you said he does a bad job. If I did, my bad You said it gets boring and I said I thought he was fine. Saying he is the best espn's got is the answer to you comment. Jmo of course.

answered that too. He is/has to be impartial. Thats what makes him a great color analyst. It does sting when he gives good color for the other team especially when we are losing.
