We lack depth at a lot of positions. Staying healthy is going to be critical but I think that’s true for everyone but outside of wr and de I don’t think we can afford to loose anyone and not take a huge step backwards. Lb and Oline scare me a ton.
Why would LB scare you

You’re joking about DE and safety, correct? Safety we signed two transfers with a ton of experience?
DE? Same and we are loaded at that position. WTF?

Every LSU championship was won when the Tigers were not predicted to be in the mix.1958,2003,2007,2019,the preseason polls and media thought they would be good not great.LSU has been its best with a chip on their shoulders and feel underappreciated.GeauxTigers!

Oops, typo but yeah, I can see where those are a depth problem

For the most part, the national media hates BK. They will have a bias. Sensible media members have given us some props. Most are cautiously optimistic like us fans.

100%. This offense is giving me 2019 vibes and the defense will just need a pulse to be a playoff team
You’re setting yourself up for disappointment if you honestly think this offense will get anywhere near to being as good as the 2019 team.

Well picking Lanoris Sellers as the 1st team All SEC Qb should tell you that the media has not the slightest clue what the hell is going on. Moscona said he interviewed around 30 of the media guys and he said not a single one of them knew that Nuss was the returning passing yds leader in the country. So this is what you are dealing with. I wouldn’t take what the media thinks seriously at all.

Burrow escaped a lot of pressure with his legs which helped the offense a ton. Nuss could be running for his life with this OL and he doesn’t run

2019... Joe and company went to Texas 1st game. Kinda have vibes this year at Clemson. Win that one and look out

Cause it’s a meaningless, counting stat that is easily compiled when you throw as much as Nussmeier did

Didn’t the media from SEC Media Days this week pick LSU to finish 4th in the SEC? The gap between us and Bama at 3 is very slight. The gap between us and 5th place So Carolina is 4 times more than the gap between us and Bama.
Most media members think the SEC gets 4 teams in the playoff and most are picking LSU as a serious playoff contender and most likely to get there.
So…No, most of the media is picking us where most LSU fans think we end up.

who cares what the media thinks. No one really knows until the games are played.
Just let the season play out and ignore all the media noise.

you should expect half the transfers to hit and half to not, any better is a happy surprise. and if only half our transfers hit we will have some holes, this is the most likely scenario.

I think it is proven depth. From a projected talent level the depth is there if the talent pans out. But at this point you just don’t know

Why is the OL such a big worry? Didn’t we sign some all conference P4 starters?

I agree I think this was the missing peice last year.
2nd year Nuss will run in those situations. Did u hear his comments at the Manning Passing Academy?
Im sure all the VR work they do will help in this regard

Plenty of bodies at safety. We just don’t know how good they will be
