Not at all. The results weren’t what we’d hoped for under McMahon but man we got to some elite x and o work huh ?

Why would you choose to phrase the question that way? Obviously it’s on your mind despite the rest of your post.

Nah most of what seemed like hate was because a lot at least on this board never let up about Wade being fired without giving McMahon a chance . Most people who still supported him even thru the loosing were just trolls.

Dude, you obviously are too young to have endured the Archer/Hallman reign of shite. DiNardo was mediocre, but was such a welcomed change from those clowns that the entire fanbase was ecstatic about a freaking Independence Bowl win in 1995.

Frick all that noise!

OP is an attention whore vajayjay.

All of the the dysfunctional McHallman years are wiped from my memory and are of no concern.

Me and Irish Mrs. Semjase are coming in for the first WW game.

"Can't Wait" to get my Hamburger and BBQ Beef po-boys from Bear's in Covington and some Boudin Balls from Best Stop in Scott.

far from an attention whore very seldom do i start threads and im extremely positive overall. I was just wondering if anyone else is having a hard time getting as excited about basketball after the past four years
im sure the portal will be fun though. its always fun to see who we can get in any sport.

to be clear ,I watched all the games when Wade was here. im sure it will be that way again but its so far out right now.

It wasn’t any worse than living through the Curley Hallman era in football

First LSU basketball game I went to was Pete playing for the freshmen team, and we all left before the regular LSU team played that night,

That is almost 60 years ago.

Still can remember the teams of the early 1960s and never winning 14 games.

Still Pete and Dale changed the LSU program more than anyone else.

PMAC was rocking by 1978 because Dale brought real basketball and real talent.

I hope it all goes back to that level of program.

I did like doing the research on LSU basketball history in 1980's and getting Jimmy to print the block, steal and assist list in the basketball guide.

Kentucky was the program few could beat at the time and Dale did it more than any other coach in the SEC at the time.

Maybe but We're way behind many other programs that committed to basketball several years ago. We have some catching up to do

DUHHH....that's my point. We've made the first investment. I'm on board and will see how it goes.

its funny, I think we played kentucky pretty good under wade and McMahon. the McMahon years blend together but I seem to remember having some great games against them. I think we do better against kentucky than our history indicates
