I'm 6'2" and I pretty much have to be in the 100 level or the first row of 200 to be comfortable.

I was with a 6'6" person and his knees didn't fit.
I am 5'7" and never considered seats wouldn't be the same around the venue.
He was very uncomfortable.

To be fair, a 6'6 person can't sit comfortably in many places. Relatively speaking, there aren't a lot of 6'6 people in the world and the "world" is not configurated to accommodate them.

Raze the PMAC, move gymnastics and volleyball to the Cow Palace.
Or how bout we just have this company build us a state of the art 400 million dollar arena free of charge!!!!!!
This company is doing just that! Only the uninformed, anti LSU people or idiots are against the new arena!

You should check out Cameron Indoor Stadium if you think PMAC is dated !

You're comparing one of the 5 most iconic venues in college basketball that is aesthetically similar to the rest of their campus to a multi-purpose arena built in the 1970's. And the primary tenant of said iconic venue has 5 national titles. Not to mention, Cameron has seen renovations through the years.
This would be like Vanderbilt's fans arguing against its recent renovation because Tiger Stadium is older & more outdated than First Bank Stadium.

Maybe I'm missing something but what's so bad about Perkins Rowe? Going grab dinner and a movie there makes for a great night imo. Also, last I checked, Perkins Rowe doesn't have a 15,000 person entertainment venue. So no, not like perkins rowe
Nothing wrong with it per se other than it’s just a stale manufactured little village. Like they tried to take the French quarter and bottle it into a built all at once Baton Rouge version for a few blocks.
Again it’s better than ghetto but it also just isn’t as nice as something that organically came together over time.

Need the golf course turned into an entertainment district around the basketball arena.
The whole golf course is being developed.
I have the preliminary plans somewhere.

I’m making no comparison to Duke and LSU basketball. There is a very good chance LSU won’t win 5 nattys in BB in the next 100 years! My point is we don’t need a new BB arena to become a top tier team!

The PMAC is fine. Men’s basketball is not at a point where it needs premium seating beyond what they sell now.
Put some of the money for a new arena into PMAC renovations and reallocate the rest for other things.

True but the rows in the PMAc are too close together.

renovate the PMAC. Nothing wrong with it and the location could not be better

baseball loses money. basketball makes money.
I do not like basketball at all, but investing in baseball doesn't make sense unless it becomes more popular or less expensive
