A few media folks have said they don't think he is doing very well. But haven't exactly reported on what the issue is. Only thing been said was a vague cardiovascular thing....not a lot of info though.

I was told he had a bacterial infection from an implant.

On 8/10 I commented on a practice pic taken of him, noticeable edema in legs, face. I thought then Congestive Heart Failure, was downvoted into oblivion…
Ray Charles could see he has something going on with his “ticker”…

I thought LSU brought him back as a favor because he needed health insurance.

I’m not sure anymore. Late after last Saturday’s game Hanagriff said that the issue is with his hip. But I’ve read here that it’s a cardiovascular problem.

Is that actually why? I mean would make sense given his salary is only like $100k.

Do you really think he can’t afford health insurance after walking away with millions of dollars?
Plus, he should be old enough for Medicare.

He seems to jog enough to have a good heart

At his age with his co-morbities health insurance could eat through that money pretty quick

Idk but I’m sure someone will make a thread tomorrow to ask the same question.

I'm not so sure he's been able to jog in atleast a couple of years

An occasional jog is no match for andouille sausage, red bulls, and big boobed blondes.

Jogging doesn't give you a good heart. Genetics is a huge part, lifestyle (nutrition, drink, smoke) is another huge part. Blood pressure, cholestrol, blood sugar, body fat...it all plays a part in the heart conditions.

Rumor was it after the divorce and some of his choices he lost a good portion of it and needed some $.

Hate to speculate but it's possible to be both

The 6 redbulls a day probably neutralizes the benefits of jogging on the heart

He turned 65 a couple of months after he signed. Just seemed odd that LSU only gave him a one year deal.
That divorce, new wife and trying to keep up same lifestyle could flush out that buyout real quickly.
