If that’s really where the RF bullpen is now, under the RF bleachers, what a joke.
LSU literally cannot do anything right or get ahead in any way. If it’s not this, it’s the horse shite light show they were late on then botched.
I have zero excitement for the new arena that is going to be built because they’ll ruin that too.
Also, this new under the bleacher bullpen is going to be awkward to pitch in. It looks like a super tight fit.

I'm excited about the basketball arena because LSU has hardly any say in the design.

A new arena that is now a mile away from practice facilities that were built to be in proximity to the PMAC. Lets not get started on fact that the basketball ops didn’t even have coaches offices or a weight room built in to it.

It’s uncanny how it’s on every project. They are always last to the party. Baseball stadium improvements (even with a field that’s only 16 years old), Tiger Stadium improvements and updates, PMac, etc. This admin thinks they can just move forward with the bare minimum partial funding of a project and it’s ridiculous. People will go to a road trip for the Arkansas game this year and notice how perfect every single one of their athletics facilities look. It’s embarrassing. This athletic administration makes way too much money to half arse every project that comes across their desk. It’s time to move on from most of these people in the admin.

The money was already in place and donors seemed to be getting scolded by the state and university.

He probably doesn’t care about this. His next priority is an indoor practice facility. It’s probably going to be several several years before any substantial renovations are made to Alex Box. Which is really shitty as they continue to raise ticket prices without improving the fan experience.

It’s pretty clear that a bunch of the penny pinchers from FKA’s admin are still pulling the strings on these projects. The model is out there. Bama and Clemson grew their educational departments by way of investment in athletics and those facilities. Our school is too dumb to do that. It shows with how out of touch they are when it comes to facility improvements and stadium experience. Woodward hire was a step in the right direction, but he and Tate need to man up and make some changes to get the progress back to where it was under Emmert and Saban.

It’s just the way Louisiana works and how all projects are approached and executed. Literally one of if not the most corrupt arse backwards state in the US when it comes to any project. Literally anything touched by this states bureaucracy will come out fricked up, but all contractors and workers will leave a shite project with fat pockets.
