this is as good as RB depth is going to be in the portal era

it’s a bad bet to think he’ll come in and dominate the position especially early on.
I dont think anyone is expecting him to "dominate" fresh out of HS... but Running back is arguably the easiest position to transition from HS to College for a top 10 rated RB.

The RB lineup doesn't matter unless the offensive line can block for them. Emery and TDP are just as capable as any of the RBs that have come out of LSU in the past decade (Besides LF7). Unfortunately they had to run behind one of the worst offensive lines in recent years last year.

No. Cause Godwin is a dude
Roger that. If he can master the flat and wheel routes to get the right angles he's going to be dangerous.

We haven’t had a standout RB since 2019.
Talk about a dry spell at the RB position!

Think WR depth is way more of a concern.

Not at all concerned about RB depth. I am more concerned about the people blocking for them.

I'm on the Kiner train. Guy is very good.

Depth is fine. It lacks a lead back with proven success. None of them have had incredible games where you get excited each time they touch it. Almost every team for the last 25 years has had a true #1 RB and sometimes 2-3 with that caliber. This team has recruiting stars and little success to show for it. I wish I was wrong. Any of them could start or transfer and I wouldn’t be shocked.

We've had success with a young running back room before.
2003:
Shyrone Carey - Junior
Joseph Addai - Sophomore
Justin Vincent - Freshman
Alley Broussard- Freshman

Not at all. I think it's a great lineup. Those guys will slay.

Everyone replying talking about talent but not addressing the OP concern of having scholarship depth if 1 or 2 go down.

If one or two get hurt ...I would be kinda concerned

Dalton Hilliard and Gary James were both true freshman. They did pretty well their first year together.
