Hell no. It's not gonna be that lopsided. Lsu travels well and will bring alot of fans. No way it's only 25% LSU fans in the stadium.

This title game should alternate between NO and ATL.

It absolutely is, its so much easier for a UGA fan to arrange going to the game let alone get tickets.

Doesnt mean we wont travel well. But geography is a tough advantage to overcome.

Could you imagine if this game was played in new Orleans and the advantage LSU would have?

Like when lsu has played in the sugar bowl or the title game in the dome? You know that's happened right?

So, I am thinking 70% UGA,30% LSU?

That is generally the split no matter who we play in the SECCG.

I was at the game in 2011, everyone says 70/30, but I’d say it was a little closer to 60/40 and I think that is what it will be this year as well.

20 years ago, I'd give the edge to GA. Today, with ease of access to tickets online and quick payment/delivery of same...not so much.

I’m not fighting here, but just saying we happen to get lucky on how the cycle falls. One location is fixed and one rotates. If UGA made the SECCG every single year, you’d always play in Atlanta. If LSU made the national championship every year, we would not always play in New Orleans.

Basically the same % it would be the other way if it were being played in the Superdome and LSU has a 2 week head start on grabbing up tickets.

75/80 - 20/25

I’m here in Atlanta and a bunch I know are just flat out not going. They see themselves getting destroyed and don’t want to pay to sit through it.

I've been to that LSU-UGA SECCG it seems like 3 times. My impression is about 65% UGA fans.

Or, probably more accurately: 60% UGA, 30% LSU, 10% corporate.

I would like to play Florida in the SECCG sometime. I think that would be closer to 50/50.

The problem is when LSU is good enough to make the SECCG LSU beats Florida. And the opposite is true for Florida which means a rematch is unlikely.

It’s gonna be more like a home game for UGA. Tiger fans are planning CFP trips and we just won’t travel that well. The rant will roast this idea but most fans aren’t gonna go to Atlanta with the CFP being a sure thing at this point
