I walked on for a year ('13) Had a family member on a major sport team from 14-18. The coaches warn about "internet message boards". No posting allowed. They can post on social media, but only positive things, i.e a wide receiver posting his QB is the goat.

Anything that can be perceived as negative will be flagged and the player will be "asked" to remove it. It's really on a case by case basis.

But everyone I knew was aware of tigerdroppings. Some cared more than others.

I was on the golf team from 82-84. I can promise you that none of us were looking at Tigerdroppings or any other message boards.

I played baseball in ‘90 and ‘91

When I lettered we did it have cell phones or internet.
We did read the paper

Baseball 1980, 81 and 82. Lamabe and Skip.

I played pick up basketball games in the field house. Played some games with TJ Pugh and Vernell Singleton. Played in a pick up game with Shedrick Wilson. Played pool against Pedro Suarez and Larry Foster. That's all I got.
