This is my biggest worry by far on the team. A lot of unknown with these guys. Can anybody else provide any insight? It would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly I don’t think we find out with this weekend’s game. FSU doesn’t seem to possess the passing game necessary to really tell us…unless of course we’re just THAT bad as a secondary.

I think we're going to be fine there. Converse, Richardson, and Garner should hold down the outside. Nickle has options. Safety has options. Most every level will be big and physical. If I have any concern, and I know it sounds weird, it's speed when we get to the meat of the SEC. If the line pressures like we expect, having big & physical backs should trump a speedy secondary anyway.

The safety position should be very solid. Cornerback is the biggest question mark. Corey Richardson sounds like he's been killing it in camp and will be a true #1. Time will tell.

I agree with your take. Also, I think the scheme will help. House is known for running a scheme that doesn’t put quite the same kind of pressure we are used to on the CBs. Combine that with the DL talent and I think it will balance out.

Some unknowns but converse foucha and brooks are proven...banks has a lot of experience too.

There is a lot of experience across the defensive secondary with the transfers. We’ll see if that translates to success for us.

I’m really excited to see House’s scheme.

As long as the front line and backers do their job, the secondary will shine!

It is worrisome that a McNeese transfer walked in and grabbed a starting spot

CB is the position group that will determine whether this team is a 6-7 win team or can reach 8-9 wins

I don’t know about their coverage skills, but I bet there will be fewer breakdowns and the tackling will be much better.

We got a freshman starting at left tackle. I like him but damn... thats a bigger concern than secondary
