Exactly. We tailgated as usual in our usual spot, had several several young lady Southern fans ask us if it was okay/legal to park where we were; so we invited them over and shared our BBQ and cake with them.
Their fans near us in the stadium seemed nice and well-behaved during the game; they were very enthusiastic (but not obnoxiously so or vulgar) about their band's performance.
But I did notice that a LOT of them did not stand up for the national anthem.

Fun fact: my very white grandparents used to go to Gambling games in the 1950s. The talent level at the time was unreal and it was a very entertaining brand of football. They never had any problems.

There are fights on campus when we’ve played sec teams. And fights in the stands.
