Just pointing out ignorance. Don't call people out for making exaggerated statements and then turn around and make two exaggerated statements.

How could "he sucked" and "looked like crap" be interpreted to mean anything other than you thought that Jennings looked like crap and sucked?

He did look like crap for the majority of the game. Hence, you know, why I qualified that opinion by giving him credit for the things he did do right after stating those opinions. Did you watch the game, or are you just trying to pick arguments? There is a middle ground between Jordan Jefferson and legit. It's hard to believe I know.

That's a pretty polarizing statement. So is "he sucked." I don't think Jennings sucked, nor do I think he looked like crap for a majority of the game. I thought that in the first half he was faced with a lot of 3rd and long obvious passing downs. In the second half when we threw the ball a bit more frequently on first and second down I thought he looked good. Even some of his incompletions were on the money, but just dropped or broken up.

I agree with you there and never refuted that so idk where this came from.

5) Giving him credit for the Diarse TD is wrong. Diarse just flat out went LOLDIARSEWINS mode. AJ hit a stationary target 8 yards down field wide open.

That's a pretty polarizing and biased statement considering that ball was thrown before Diarse even made his cut and was at least a 25 yard throw across the hash marks. Diarse turned it into a TD, but that ball was perfectly thrown, on time, and with velocity.

I'm glad you totally downplayed it to meet your supposed "non-polarizing" agenda.

Jennings made the plays when he HAD TO... Hard to argue this... Had some real crappy throws and some that JJ could only dream of.........

AJ made 3 or 4 big throws and in each case, he led the receiver to the ball which resulted in the YACs. Jamarcus and Flynn used to do this very well.

JJ used to throw the ball to where the receiver was 5 mins ago.

You are an idiot or a troll. Probably both.

Jennings hit for 230 and two TDs. You want to tell us the last time a QB did that for LSU beginning his second year of college football and making his second career start against a nationally ranked team away from Tiger Stadium?

Some of you clowns are so fricking stupid when it comes to college football you don't know which way is up.

So let's say what you saw last night is what you get - less than mediocre completion percentage, no major mistakes, a few spectacular plays that make the stats look decent, and an ugly win...is Jennings the guy all year, or does Harris get a longer look (especially against the upcoming cupcakes)? Does Harris get redshirted? If he does, do our prime QB recruits look elsewhere? Personally, I think if the game plan is wide open with our VERY capable receivers, Jennings can be damn good. And he just looks so much more physically ready right now. I think our receivers impressed me more than any other position last night.

"He sucked, but when we needed him to, he made winning plays."

What a contradiction. Please explain how someone can "suck" but still be able to deliver when needed? The kid may have had some bad throws but in no way can you say, a true sophomore, in his second start on the road against a top 15 team, who led his team back from a 17 point deficit to win the game "sucked".

He was pretty good but you could tell he was prepared poorly. More bad QB coaching from our staff. We are the kings of bad quarterbacking in CFB.

sigh. first I was sure this was sarcasm then I saw who composed it. I just don't know what to make of the phrase "he was prepared poorly". esp when cam Cameron is our qb coach.

and there is no way you can blame that sack on Harris. The guy was in his face before he even completed his drop.
I dunno. . .

People blamed JJ for the very same shite on 1/9

I don't think it is fair to say Jennings looked bad in the first half.

he had the long pass TD for 80 yards but missed several of his targets and made some unforced errors. he settled down eventually.

but his O-line was absolutely letting him down. a lot.

Look, AJ had a few big plays that skewed his stats. I give him credit for his good throws, but I didn't think he played well overall.

I know a lot of us are trying to find the positives from last night, but I'm very concerned. We got a break that their two DLs got hurt and they had an awful QB and stopped using Gordon in the second half.

We were very lucky to win that game. We need to improve significantly with our killer schedule.

Yeah, even a seasoned QB would struggle in those situations. It's a team sport.
