Jennings will likely continue to improve; however, I think college football has evolved to the point being 'young' is no longer an excuse. Seeing the way Hill dominated for A&M, or Winston last year @ Fl. St., more & more 1st year QB's are coming on as dominating as freshman or sophs. It is almost to the point you either have that 'it' factor when you step out on the field for the first time, or you don't. The drive last year against Arky & 'the pass' were amazing, but the Iowa bowl game left much to be desired. Saturday night was the case of 2 halfs- we need more of that second half play from AJ.
I agree with you, but you also have to look at the fact that the game plan for the Iowa and Wisconsin games, basically handcuffed him from the get go. Sumlin let Kenny Hill throw all over the place. Jimbo let Winston throw all over the place. Miles/Cam decided they wanted to make Jennings completely invisible by establishing the run game, and pretty much limiting him to that.
Once they finally figured out they were fricked if they kept up with the bullshite handcuffing (took them about halfway into the third), he passed all over the place. He looked like he could pass for 300 when they let loose. This was before Hilliard ran through 10 ft wide holes. This was the reason why there were 10 ft wide holes. We need that type of confidence in our passing game.

time to drop the training wheels IMO
they let him have the playbook for arkansas and reeled it back for iowa and wisconsin
I think that caused jennings to probably play tight
