He started and won game 1 of the Super Regional against Ole Miss.

Numbers won’t jump off the page but he threw some high leverage innings down the stretch. Got the win against Ole Miss in game 1 with 2.1 innings of hitless relief. More of a ground ball guy than big K totals.

I didn't ask for details. Way back when Berry was locked up, I simply asked if we were done with AZ guys, and the response was that we wanted a LHP and OF. Cooper is our LHP. AZ OFs would be Chase Davis or Casagrande, but I'm not sure we thought that Dugas and Gio would both come back or that Pearson would make it to campus. Pitching wise, I think Shaffer and Cooper finish our pursuit of LHP...and Reyzelman/Collins complete our pursuit of pitchers altogether. The pivot may be to catcher. But, you just never know. It seems like they're very open to bringing in good players, then just sorting the numbers out.

Yeah, he is reeling them in for LSU which is great, but I would hate him if I was an Arizona fan. But that's the transfer portal and this is what can happen with it.
