May God grant peace and comfort you and your family. It's really wonderful that your heart has changed and you see that you can be that unknown friend and supporter of others. God bless you as you put one foot in front of the other to keep moving forward!

JoBo68, you post really hit me. Wow. I've never been through a loss like this. I have no wisdom to share. I guess some kind of loss like this is coming for all of us. I hope I have your dignity when it happens.

So sorry for your loss. Parents shouldn't have to bury their children, but as you said God has a plan. May Blake rest in peace and may his memory give you solace in the days ahead.

I am certain there is not one word or a thousand that could give you comfort today. You are living out my biggest fear. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I pray that God will give you comfort and peace.

Prayers to you and your family. Take pride and comfort in the fact that God set him on a course in life for only 22 yrs and chose and your family to be the ones to develop, guide, and love him through that journey!!

God bless you and your loved ones. I lost my 17 year old son in 1995. There are no words to take away your loss. But know that God is real and your son is with him now. We have learned to accept God's timing. We all have a day and time. I will pray that the Comfort that goes beyond understanding comes to you and yours.

The shortest chapter in the Bible says that Jesus wept. That is before He resurrected Lazurus. He felt the pain that we all feel when we lose someone we love. Jesus is the resurrection. God bless. It is ok to weep. And it helps to talk.
