Yeah... no sympathy. They wanted that contract, and they knew what they were bidding.
If LSU could figure it out while having concession stands run by high school clubs and Boy Scouts before, Aramark has no excuse.

The lines kill me in the north end zone sections. Not sure how they are in the other areas. Couldn’t even move in the ramp areas during halftime of the Bama game.

hold the groceries. Even at a McDonalds in public doesn’t come close to the sheer volume of customers they face . $100,000 a month in sales at a fast food restaurant is considered a good month . I know because I was GM for years . 100,000 people would clear out a over stocked restaurant in 3 hrs providing you had the employees to do so .
It is very hard to keep up with that kind of volume and probably just don’t have the storage space .
Uhhhhh, this is a company that does nothing but sports vendor shite. Are you telling me the fricking church groups and Boys Scouts just had better inventory management? That company is shite.

Doesn't seem to add up to what I see on This Page. Plus -- absent a hurricane blowing up the game schedule -- it seems to me the vendor should have a pretty damn good idea of likely customer demands in advance of each game, eh?

These large stadium concerts don't run out of t-shirts and beer. Hell Talladega was feeding 175,000 back in the day.

I actually didn't have too many complaints this year...the service improved pretty substantially over the course of the season. The food and prices were typical of what you would expect at a sporting event.

The thing is, Aramark does Astros concessions and they are great. What coukd be the diff? LSU doesn’t hold them to a higher standard?

Last night north end zone were out of popcorn in the first quarter. Hot Dogs were cold (gave them back). I jokingly said to the young lady cashier that it must be the big crowd she said no the guys downstairs making the popcorn are just lazy and don’t want to work.

The jambalaya vendor by 216 could not sell anything to anyone because the cash register was locked... what a freaking joke

The East Upper has been shite all year
I can't speak for the rest of the stadium, but yeah, the east upper has been abysmal. For the bama game, they were out of food before the game even started. My buddy was a little over-served, so we wanted to get some food in him. Alas, no hamburgers nor hotdogs. When they finally did get food prepared, the fricking hotdogs were ice cold in the middle.
Aramark has been shite for years. And it's completely embarrassing that in a state that is so known for its food and culture, they can't seem to figure out concession snacks.

Concessions are one significant item on a LOOONNNGG list of things that such about the East side of the stadium. People in east lower (sections 302-305) pay the same as people pay for prime West lower seats, and are treated as if they deserve bleacher seats and a video screen in the track stadium. And yet the admin wonders why fans bail when the game is less than compelling.

Aramark has large contracts with the federal government to feed inmates and immigrant detainees in the private prison-for-profit industry....
They bring that same mentality to football stadiums:
"How can we maximize profit feeding a captive group with no other available food options, using the cheapest ingredients we can get away with?"
