Do some research. Anyone on any given day can beat you in basketball in the SEC. In football if you are LSU, Bama, Georgia in your best years, you don't lose to Mizzou, Vandy, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Arkansas, South Carolina, Kentucky, Moo State
That could be a 2-6 in basketball.

One loss in football can knock you out of championship contention. In basketball, it's more important to be playing your best at the end of the season. When you play more games upsets are more likely to happen especially in a game of runs like basketball.

If anybody watched the game 00 and 24 played incredible for SC. Other than the first 6 mins and a couple of missed box outs LSU D played pretty good.

South Carolina only played 5 games and had over a week to prepare for us . They were fresh and well prepared. knew this was going to be a tough game just like Georgia

Exactly. This team does not give the same effort every game. That is what is frustrating. Doesn't mean I'm a hater. Smart is a terrible PG. He consistently turns the ball over trying to make one on one drives that he is too slow to do and he constantly gives up drives into the paint as does Cam. You will not go far with that type of effort I don't care who your coach is.

He is not a natural point guard, but he definitely isn't terrible. Last night was his worst game as far as his passing/turnovers (specifically the 1st half). However, as of last night, he was in the top 10 in the SEC in scoring and assist-to-turnover ratio, and in the top 5 for FG %, 3-point% and assists.
He has had a few too many turnovers the last few weeks, but he is also 2nd in the SEC in minutes played and he has only had 2 turnovers in the majority of games he has played. Last night it took him a little while to realize that SC was swatting every other shot away, so a different strategy was needed. But he caught fire from 3 in the 2nd half and shot over 60% from there for the game.
