No one ever said the team was horrible. The criticism is about defense. We just gave up 80 to South Carolina, and you're thumping your chest at supposed "haters"?

Why does bball get so much more slack than football? One bad series in football and the whole board is shitting on every coach they can. If we played a football game like tonight but still squeaked out a W this board wouldnt be acting so happy.

I mean it is an 18 game SEC schedule. In FB you can't really let your guard down.
In basketball, even as a great team you may not play your best 80% of the time. Win 80% of your games in an SEC basketball season and you finish top 2 to 3 in the league

Well it’s good enough in basketball since there is a tourney and not a 4 team playoff.
20 plus wins and top 3 sec finish gets us in the tourny as a decent seed

In general, LSU fans aren't as quick to jump off a bridge when LSU does something bad in basketball, but Wade and team was getting shite on pretty good after the UF loss. SC may not be a good team, but they were playing their arse off tonight and played really well too. It was a good W for LSU on a night when SC looked like they wanted it more for good portions of the game. But LSU played hard and physical in the 2nd half down the stretch and made the plays to win.
