They should replace the cow bell with the dinner bell.

Don't you know that SEC hates LSU? That's the reason.

It's stupid but it is their tradition. Honestly, as long as they aren't doing it in the last ten seconds before a play is run, I am fine with it.

It's annoying but, eh.

I just wonder if it will be an issue with all the pre-snap shifting canada does.

I think it would be great for the games next year for all the LSU fans to bring cowbells and ring them when Moo State is on Offense

I wonder what the SEC's thoughts would be on them then

We follow the rule that when the center is over the ball, we don't ring. Listen for it on TV this Saturday- it's actually a pretty cool effect.

Many State fans use the bells as distress signals instead of the "help I've fallen and can't get up" signalers.

You think they would allow those in Tiger Stadium?

Here's what you do. Take a stadium cup and cut the bottom out of it. Boom...megaphone. Scream through that and it's loud as all frick!

Not an artificial noise maker, not an empty cup because it has a hole in it and no one gives you shite about bringing it in, etc.

Trust me...it's incredibly loud.

It was negotiated many many years ago. Each SEC school was allowed one rule that could be ignored. To make a long story short Bama went first and chose to have pre-game meetings with refs and boosters ignored and State chose noise makers.

They allow Bama their illegal recruiting and biased referees. Allowing cowbells for Mississippi State helps to ease the guilt.

We have a tradition of having cocktails in the stadium. Why did the SEC nix our beer garden?

It's their version of a rape whistle.

They will need them...

Just think to yourself "that's just the sound of them preparing their anus"
