Obviously O looked over at Bama and thought, “Hey! Dey got dem a buncha analys’! I gone git buncha analys’ too, me! Gone ‘ship, baw!”
Monkey see, monkey do.
Does O know how to hire a team of analysts? Does he know how to direct them? Does he know how to implement the analysis he gets from them? Guess we’ll find out. This will be one less excuse for losing to Bama, or not surpassing his predecessor.

Anyone else surprised Kragthorpe is only making $60k? I thought he was making substantially more than that a couple of years ago.

Yes I'm surprised by that figure too. He had to be making at least 300k before I would imagine.

So tell me, let's just say O goes 9-4 again next year and then somewhere between 8-10 wins the following year as well.
Basically, continuing the 8-10 win results we've had over the last 15 years. What does that say about these analysts?
People actually upvote shite like this lol

I'm glad they are doing this. I just don't want to hear excuses. He's been given everything he needs to succeed.

Who the hell can live off 30K a year?

The reason Aranda is paid so much is because he is worth it.

Yet, more positives on turning this thing around. Made possible by O taking less money so they could put more money into the coaches, and staff, and get some coaches off payroll. But, you won't hear any appreciation from our fans
That’s actually a pretty good point. We obviously had to do this to at least try and catch up to Bama, and if O ever gets let go, the infrastructure is already there. It’s not like an incoming coach would say nah get those guys out of here I need less staff. For all the complaints about O setting the program back, this will undoubtedly put it in a better position.
I have heard a few people mention lately that it is crazy that Saban would show recruits negative message board material. While that is true, you know that fricker has got someone on staff in the negative recruiting department to do just that.

These guys feel like GA with hire salaries and less contact with the players.
Well yeah, that’s pretty much what they are. GA’s with experience. But I think you can only have 2 GAs?

Orgeron taking less money? What has he done to garner more than $3.5 anually? I think he is overpaid.

I can't believe 21 people upvoted this garbage.

Yeah, unfortunately that appears to have been his market rate, or we at least had to beat market to keep him

I think people may have unrealistic expectations from what analysts provide.
Saban had elite results before the analysts. I imagine he's just wanted a way to outsource some of his workload now that he's getting up there in age.
The HC is still the one that has to distill the information and apply it to help the team. Analysts can't make you a better coach than you were before you got them.

Why is Jorge Munoz making 10,000 more than Steve Kragthorpe?

WTH? You think this is a good thing? Still one of the highest paid staffs in all of football for a likely 6-6 Record next year or 7-5 at best. Top 5 MINIMUM OF ALL STAFFS ANS NO WHERE NEAR TOP 5 ranking.
Leave dumbass.
