Just sold my 4 tickets for Lambeau to a friend at face value.
The scalping culture annoys me. Yeah, yeah, supply and demand and all that. frick that.
Geaux Tigers.

Nothing wrong at all.
I'll be selling two of mine at face to a friend. Hell, probably give them to him.

To a friend? Definitely sell em at face. If you try to profit off your friend, then you're not really friends. Someone I don't know? I'll try to make some money, but wouldn't be an a-hole about it either.

What kind of piece of shite would try to make money off a friend?

I don't understand why they don't charge a higher face value when the demand is there for it.

It was your friend. Now, on eBay - No

As long as your friend uses them.
If he scalps them, then he should give you the profits.

Because it (scalping) is illegal.

Change thread title to "just sold 4 tickets to a friend at face value" then you can change the content of the post to "in a completely unrelated but equally pointless matter, I disagree with the concept of ticket scalping."
Your threads are life changing man

I blame the buyers too. If some idiot wouldn't spend $400+ on a $120 ticket, people wouldn't think they could sell them for that much. I always wait, and the price goes down. At least for LSU games.

I sold my extra hotel room for a good bit under value. If I know the person, and they're an LSU fan, I ain't gouging.
I'm with you.
I'm with you.

I sold a pair of national championship tickets for a huge profit in 2012... It was weird but it nearly paid for my season tickets the next year. Normal games... I just give them away or sell for face value

You are awesome. I wish more people were like that. I don't believe in trying to make money off a ticket and it's really annoying watching other people try to

Good for you. A man with honor and integrity.
Scalping tickets is lower than virus shite. So is defending it.

They are your tickets. It isn't anyone's business what you do with them.

Both sides benefited from the voluntary transaction w/o hurting someone else in the process. Sounds like the free market is working just fine here.
