Why are we looking at this game? That's one of is few outlier games that even from ASU fans said was an odd one.

Bet he won't put on the Texas Tech film which that team had a pretty good defense too. Consistency is Sam's problem and what you want to see him turn the next page on.

Different offense than Kiffin’s. He was just running around playing backyard ball at ASU, a lot like what Kelly was doing here. There will be alot more structure, intent and decisiveness with Kiffin here.

I agree. This is why I and some other people still have question marks about his foot injury. Even if he is technically 100% healthy, I need to see him be able to do the same type of things running the ball as he could do before the injury. At this point in time, he hasn’t shown to be consistent enough throwing the ball to be able to take a step back in his ability to run.

Leavitt is going to have an AllConference Center with Moore, 1st round pick in Seaton, 2 year starter in Bah, a former 5 star in Weston Davis, and a 5th year senior in Bordelon.
As for weapons, he will have a 6’7 first round pick at Tight end, #1 RB in the country, Durham and Dillon Jones. Jackson Harris, Jayce Brown, Eugene Wilson, and Winnie Watkins.
Playcalling: we’ve seen Lane make it work with Dart, Corral, and a D3 QB. Playcalling will be readymade for Leavitt to make simple reads. So this is levels above the situation he had at State. No disrespect to Skattebo and Tyson

So we just gonna knee jerk react on this and judge Leavitt based off of one bad game against Mississippi State when he was injured and had no line or play makers around him except for one WR in Tyson? As if no other elite QBs have had bad games before?

I have more faith in Leavitt developing than I did Nuss. Especially with Lane.
Ill also say that Ive heard Leavitt is putting in all of the work that Nuss wasnt. He's spending a ton of time in the VR, and with his WRs and TEs.

Well man I’ve got some great news for yall that are worried about this. We now have two of the best offensive minds and developers in all of football now in Kiffin and Weiss Jr. If there is any two guys that can and will make Leavitt look like a superstar, it’s the two coaches I just mentioned. Don’t even really know why yall are worrying about this.

If you watch this game in its entirety.. he had some unbelievable plays but also a ton of head scratching decisions. We have to hope lane can help him develop and his offense makes it easier on him

Different offense. Different athletes, different Oline. So you think a guy that has a team that’s “just different” will look the same as a big 12 school?

I'll bet that WR from Hawaii going to be the surprise of that group more than the bigger names they got. That guy looks perfect for the type of WR Kiffin's offense wants. He reportedly was making plays in spring too. Tall productive WR that had some pretty head turning stats before going to LSU and somehow wasn't rated higher in the portal. He's really productive YAC and he apparently broke some loose in spring against a good defense.

Isn’t he statistically the best WR on our roster? I agree though, he will be a huge part of it. Tre’dez will also take a lot of targets away from other WRs
