Much like Jayden's time there, Arizona State was arse.. besides an NFL receiver or 2.

SL will thrive in this offense with the talent surrounding him

No Ryan Wingo, Ryan Williams, or Cam Coleman?

Is that a troll list?

He reminds me a bit of Matt Flynn - not the biggest arm and will toss up some ducks, but will stand in the pocket or lower his shoulder to make key plays in the 4th.

We’ll see if he can develop the leadership skills that made MF15 so special.

I’m usually a purple and gold glasses sunshine pumper but I’ve been burned too many times. Sam has some talent, especially running the ball. But I’m not getting my hopes up that this dude is going to be great with an SEC schedule. Maybe Kiffin can make him better.

I’m expecting average and will be pleasantly surprised with anything more.

My thoughts, exactly!!! If the BK years taught me anything, its don't get you hopes too high based on preseason hype!! I'm not expecting anything, just hoping for average QB play.

Arizona st was 6-1 when Leavitt was healthy. After he was injured they fell off a cliff. He beat Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech and should have beat Miss State.

Something to keep in mind is he was sacked 18 times in 7 games. It was not a banner year in any way for the asu offense.

Ultimately, I think Sam will do fine, but he seems VERY inconsistent.

There are some other games where he struggles on swing passes and dump offs to the tailback. He needs a lot of work.

His RB Raleek brown now at Texas is pretty good and his LT went round 1. But I agree the other 4 OL he had were god awful looking at the tape, especially against the better DL’s they played. And the entire passing offense basically limited Leavitt to Tyson or checking down to the RB brown

Now go watch Jaden Daniels’ 8 for 20 with 80 yards at Auburn. That guy would never have been a solid SEC quarterback

If you aren't impressed with Leavitt's career thus far, you must have thought Burrow and Daniels were complete arse before coming here.

This guy took Arizona State to the playoffs and they were 3-9 the year before he got there.

It will probably make people nervous but I see Lane running this guy like Matt Corrall. I also believe he is a really good fit for the HUNH offense Lane runs.

I'm about to make all the excuses here. The bad underthrown interception looked like it was tipped to me. Receivers were dropping balls left and right. Offensive line looked really bad.

Over threw the one receiver pretty bad early in the video, but he's going to definitely be an upgrade as far as scrambling for a 1st down.
