So the book on Coach O was right? Elite recruiter but in over his head as a head coach.

He said recruited by, no mention of signed. Reading is hard.

Kind of the opposite of BK in a few areas (recruiting and likability) bit they both make very questionable hires so they have that in common.

It cost one of them their job here, jury remains out on the other.

You should take your own advice and get them south lafourche nuts out your mouth

I’m very thankful O was able to put together the greatest CFB team of all time. That was a legendary year and I’m forever thankful to him for that.

However, some of yall have the shortest memories I’ve ever seen. He drove the program into the ground after that. Not sure why that isn’t remembered

Are we counting Landon Jackson as an O recruit who got drafted tonight?

Regardless of what you think of him, that did happen.

None of that has anything to do with this. I am talking about him being so but hurt about being fired that he is trying to take credit and pimping himself as being responsible for these players success when he didn't coach them.

He is relevant to me in that he put together the greatest team in history at LSU.

Does Kelly get credit for some of the ND players drafted?

And then once he had to start hiring his own staff... he ran the program into the ground and left the worst lsu roster any lsu hc has inherited since the early 90's. We literally didn't have a 2 deep roster on scholarship.

Mason Taylor visited multiple schools after his LSU commitment. He, like every 2022 commit, did not sign until after Kelly was the coach.

Had a heisman winner and finished in the top 12. What's it say about O that he could go under .500, destroy a roster and leave less than a 2 deep and a competent coach comes in and wins the west?
O always will be a clown. He is a care dline coach that lucked into one of Miles's coaches having a relationship with Burrow.

He can’t claim them if he got fired months before they signed with LSU. Kelly had to finish the recruiting class and convince them to sign with LSU.

Thinking for yourself and being smart is hard.

Obviously O started the recruitment, but Kelly had to get it locked in and across the line.
Kinda true he was part if the process.
Will Campbell was going to to LSU if you were the HC

Recruiting was his specialty. Maintaining success was not. 2019 was more fun than any LSU coach ever gave me. For that I will always be grateful. I went to a lot of huge games that year so it was just a perfect storm for me.

With Miles coaching staff. Thanks God one of Miles' coaches had a relationship with Burrow.

Aranda probably had as much of an impact on that as O

This argument had a tiny bit of merit in 2007.

Now, you just look like a fricking phaggot retard.
