The difference between disabled and handicapped is nuanced, and many people are both. So it is incorrect to say “disabled person” is the preferred term over handicapped. It depends on how the individual’s impairments limit their functional ability. Do the impairments affect a specific functional ability? Then disabled. If it prevents that person fulfilling the normal role in life, then they are handicapped. Also handicapped license, handicapped parking, handicapped controls, etc. I’m seeing a pattern.

I’m still pissed the “Intimidator” is so freagin tiny. I’ve wined and complained for years about it. I’ve even offered to pay for a massive one that’s almost as wide as the bleachers in front of it, but they never email me back with anything specific- just that thank you for blah blah…

Are chair back seats some incredible expense? I’m starting to get really pissed off at our high school seating situation in places that aren’t occupied by the old people that will never sell. It’s uncomfortable as frick to sit in that place and the food fricking sucks.
Omaha showed me the light. I was spoiled at Charles Schwab/TD Ameritrade/Rosenblatt/Polo Grounds. I was able to see what a stadium focused on the fans was all about. We play baseball in a place that caters to nickel-and-diming us to death.
