Alex Box renovation per source

Went to the game last Friday. The official that works there and old box for 31 years told me the master plan for the outfield is to extend the overhang with suites to the foul poles and around the outfield. The whole stadium will be in the shade.

Overhang with chair backs all the way down the lines would be perfect. I don't think overhang in the outfield is needed. They should get creative and do something different with the outfield.

So the next move is to literally make Alex Box a major league ball park. I like. All I ask is make everything chairbacks so we can fill it up.

I’m sure they are working on a master plan with a bunch of stuff. How quickly all of that will come to life is the real question. An indoor practice facility will happen before they extend the suites all the way down the lines.

A two tier lazy river around the outfield... like Pirates of the Caribbean at Disney... float one end to the other, up a little ramp, back to the original side, down a little fall... can see the field the entire time both ways.

I was in Fayetteville one afternoon the same time as an Arkansas-Ole Miss game and visited Baum-Walker.

The entire stadium needs to be reimagined.
The concourses need to be rebuilt from the ground up and widened and space underneath the concourse for pitching and batting cages. Think where Skenes was video’d warming up in Game 3 of CWS. You could build locker rooms for opposing team. Chair backs and suites going all the way down to the foul poles and have a wraparound concourse.
Bring back Dip n Dots in a mini LSU helmet.

Razorbacks ball park is pretty nice. I would be happy with that type of upgrade if that is all we do.

The problem is LSU can never do an entire renovation. They’ll piecemeal the project over a decade.
