This win was both awesome and big. We could have, and almost did roll over and settle for at best a chance to take the next two, but we gutted it out and snagged a big momentum victory. This series is a must win, but a sweep is what we truly need. Hess unfortunately didn't have his best stuff tonight but the pen did well. We threw a lot of less than top shelf arms but they managed to hold the line. Not sure how many pitches Fontenot threw but I'd imagine he could throw a little more later if needed. Peterson did exactly what we needed and looked sharp so that's encouraging.
