Anyone else shocked by how long Al Woods has lasted in the NFL? He was pretty much an underachiever at LSU compared to how highly touted he was out of high school.

However, he has had a surprisingly long NFL career. He’s starting for the Seahawks tonight and he’s making plays. It’s awesome that he turned himself into an NFL caliber player eventually despite underperforming in college and early in his NFL career.

Not really.

And that was more on the guy next to him that jumped first.

Danielle Hunter is the one that I don't understand....He's a damn all pro and was one of the least productive DE we have had past 10 years...

No he didn’t. Seahawks couldn’t even get a first down after FG so stfu. Woods played a great game even with the penalty. He’s been in league 12 years and has made million so fy lol. Dude in his 30s and still starting in the NFL. Great for Al!

Wasn’t getting developed in college Or just took sometime to come on to the speed of the game which looks to be the case here

Perry Riley had a better NFL career at LB than he did at LSU.

I thought he looked physically dominant at times. Well done, Al .

Nah. If anything, it was a positive for the Seahawks that more time was run off with still just a FG as the result

Is there any chance Woody can convince Sean Payton to come to BR? How much money would it take

About twenty years ago I was working with Leon who was a welder and a cousin of Al's mother. He was asked why he atypically turned down an opportunity to work overtime. Leon said that the town of Elton was giving a parade for Al.

Leon, being asked why a town would give a parade for a high school kid, replied that "Al is a first round draft choice for the LSU Tigers." He added that Al's family had a ranch and only ate "high-end beef."

Good to know that he has had long career.
