Damn I almost forgot about Valentine.. You’d have thought he was Aaron Donald if you just heard what was being said about him.

Remember when there was a shift on the first play and it got a standing ovation? That’s how desperate we were for any semblance of creativity. I’ve watched a few 2011 games lately and it’s remarkable how good that team was with that vanilla offense.

I don’t think Canada’s offense was as bad as some people. All the eye candy left some gaping holes. But I think it’s best suited for a team with less talent than their opponent and wasted LSU athletes.

No. He took over an offense whose two leading returning WRs had a total of 31 catches combined in their career (about the least experienced WR core I could remember at LSU). He wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible. He actually did a very good job with Chark, Gage, D Williams and Etling. Guice was banged up for much of the season. He had his work cut out for him and then O admitted taking over the offense in the Troy game until the 2nd half when LSU came back

I'll never forget an interview on OTB with Lane Kiffin and he said he called O laughing asking why in the hell he had our offensive lineman running 10 yards before each snap.

shite was gimmicky. Thank god O didn't waste time and fixed it asap.

Catch that F--king punt and we win in regulation, instead of the 74-72 abomination.

I never thought Canada was bad. Our offense looked completely different, even though it was mostly pre-snap motions.

I think Coach O clearly came out better from that imbroglio. You know, natty and all.

Biggest misnomer in college football history. PSM Canada would would be correct. (Pre-Snap-Movement).

Canada had so much potential here and if he didn’t clash with the other coaches I think he could’ve got his offense going

2011 might as well be a 1000 years ago where football is concerned. Those offenses were winning and regularly beating the shite out of spread teams. 2011 was the end approaching the end of the era but just about all of your national champions around that time were smash mouth football teams. People were throwing the ball around but those people weren’t winning.
