I do agree with them that moving to the SEC was a mistake. I think the same for OU. Both programs would be in better shape had they stayed in the Big 12. The big 12 would be in better shape too. Texas is the only one that seemed to have really improved by joining the SEC.

If you really want entertainment, search YouTube for Aggie postgame LSU and hear some heavy tears flowing through very polite, non-cursing grief & agony.

I disagree. Texas was too controlling in the Big 12. I had a conversation with a Texas fan back when we played Washington at home and I predicted aTm would win a NC before Texas would. They had an easy recruiting pitch. If you want to play in the best conference and stay in your home state of Texas, come to aTm. They problem is that they squandered it. aTm should have fought against allowing Texas and Oklahoma into the SEC. If they did, they should have fought harder.
South Carolina won't let the SEC add Clemson and Florida won't let the SEC and FL St.
Now it might be time for them to reach out to Missouri and Arkansas to see if they would be interested in joining up with Texas Tech, Houston, Bayor and a few others. Indiana proved that if you have the boosters and NIL support, you don't need to be a traditional power to win it all. But you have to have an easier conference schedule than you'll have in the SEC.

That lost comment by Maroon Dawn is relevant to me. I caught A&M's locked on podcast and the host referred to Marcel Reed as a good Aggie. What the frick does that mean?
It's 2026, you pay these players, what does being a good Aggie mean? You think he actually gives a honest truth about anything outside of what is best for himself?

I missed the old days where those 4 schools were still in the Big 12 and the Big 12 was a decent conference. I also miss the Pac 12 being entertaining late night football and not sending west coast teams all the way across the country for "conference games".
