After the latest Nakos report, Dellenger should be called out and reprimanded or fired

It’s time for everyone to call out Dellenger and his axe to grind against LSU publically. He is absolutely not a friend to this school and does his best to put a negative spotlight on us. He needs to be called out, especially any time he’s on campus.

To be fair, Nakos didn’t really prove anything. He just made a blanket statement and didn’t even name drop schools.

Let Them….. it’s their job to get clicks. Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas not getting the bills paid.

Nakos and Dellenger both suck for different reasons.

Calling for either of them to be fired is ridiculous when one can simply ignore them. And if you feel strongly enough about them, make sure you don't monetarily support whoever they work for.

Dellenger did exactly what his bosses wanted him to do….. drive clicks to the site

The sooner you understand that the media isn’t here to reports facts, only to drive clicks and views, you’ll understand why “reporters” use unanimous sources to push narratives

His job is to report than the SEC was planning to kick LSU out specifically???, which was obviously fabricated and drinkwitz even called him out for….. No mention of any other schools potentially doing this either or the fact that Texas already did it. Just LSU right? Reprimanded for letting personal bias against LSU impact the narrative of his reports. It’s garbage reporting. If you can’t see that I don’t know what to tell you. This is not the first time he has directed a narrative against lsu specially in an unprofessional way. But you are right it’s probably too much to expect honest journalism in today’s day and age so just give him hell any time he’s on campus. He’s no friend to the university.

Finebaum is joke and espn knows this. He shouldn’t have a job either but he gets ppl riled up and I guess it gets them some views. However, Finebaum wasn’t reporting this ….he was giving his opinion of the issue after dellenger reported it. I disagree with his opinion but it’s his opinion. Not the same thing imo

And people like the OP fall EXACTLY into the trap by calling for public condemnation of the reporter...every time!

Journalist don't give one shite about how angry you are, or how much you don't like them, or you rallying like-minding people to go on a smear campaign. They only care that you are giving attention to their work. Attention equals "clicks". Clicks = a greater willingness for advertisers to buy space on the journalist's site. More advertising = more money for the site and the journalist.

If you want to ACTUALLY do something to effect the journalist you don't like then simply ignore him and anything he writes altogether. Negative responses don't end a journalist's career. NO response does.

No. His job is to get you to read, react, and draw attention to his work.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

We’re an emotional fanbase, who at times is irrational and can be set into a frenzy relatively easily. For someone who gets paid per click and view, poking us is a great revenue generator for him and his employer. Calling him out only increases his clicks, views, revenue, and favor with employer.

Journalistic integrity is dead and rage-bait has taken its place.
