Where are you from? I'm almost ashamed to say I share the same area code as you. Maybe you're just a victim of the texting era...cause your spelling/grammar is horrible.

To me, it doesn't matter if JJ gets cleared. He has never come off as a leader. I don't think he has the respect of his teammates either. He looked like he was about to cry at the press conference just like he pouts during every game he's played here. We won last year because of defense. If we want a NC we need someone else under center.

Curfew, murfew, plenty of senior QBs broke and will break them, ask Flynn. The difference is people had no reason to pick a fight with them.Mett and JL will play any means neccessary, said the light bulb that night. If JJ don't drink,he more than likely walked away from both incidents, and will keep walking until the next BS

I agree. Some of these posters are an embarrassment to LSU. For a mere bar fight, many of these posters would like to scar the lives of these young men. They made a mistake. These posters should not throw rocks in their own glasshouses. But, at the same time, I sympathize with the victims and the injured. If you were not there, how can you justify your opinions based on hearsay, rumors, gossip and theory. I know that Les Miles is disappointed in his players and more importantly, these families of these young men are sadden also by these events. There are many people who are affected by this event on and off the field, within the university and the families at home. Some of you have been waiting for a Les Miles incident to force him to leave or a Jefferson incident to get him to relinquish his QB duties. My hope is that neither happens and we have a GREAT season. My other hope and prayer is that the injured of this activity has a speedy recovery.

This is the most logical post in here...everybodys got an opinion...all BS...can't we all just wait and see how this plays out...all this bs on here is not making the situation any better...I WOULDN'T BLAME CHK. IF HE SHUT THIS SITE DOWN FOR 24 HOURS..TO LET SOMETHING OF SUBSTANCE TAKE PLACE...always a TIGER, regardless...

Why are you so shocked? I would say that probably a good 75% of the LSU fanbase as a whole has zero confidence in Jefferson being the starter and are skeptical at best at any mention of him being a leader and a better passer this year.

So that's before the incident even started.

Then he breaks curfew and proceeds to do "this". "This" will be defined when more details come out, but "this" is enough to push most people over the edge with Jefferson, being that he was already hanging on by a thread anyway.

So again, I ask you, why are you so shocked at the reaction from LSU fans?

I agree in general to you statement. However, if the football players pull someone from their truck, and then kick him in the head while he is on the ground then that is a whole different story.

Abusing Alcohol and disrespecting football players will not end well for you..

No one was arrested, no one went to the hospital..

Let's move along now

I don't know if I have translated your post correctly, but I here goes...

I have been consistent in my thoughts on JJ as a QB. He is inaccurate, he does not see the field well, and he has no feel for the game. I also think he leaves a lot to be desired as a leader on and off the field.

This episode solidifies my beliefs regarding his ability to be a leader.

Rest assured however, if it had been our other Sr. QB that broke curfew and got involved in a fight, I would have the exact same opinion about him. Since we do not know all of the particulars, we do not yet know whether JL was involved in this or not...if he was, I would have the same opinion of him.

The difference was there were people coming out the woodwork backing those stories up including managers of the Varsity. This one seems to have a very limited number of eye witnesses and is clear as mid at best right now. Yet people are claiming our players are thugs and Miles allows his teams to be out of control. It's been insane here the last few days.

I'd have a very sorry look on my face too, if I were 20 years old and had just made my dad look like a fool for defending me.

Four people went to the hospital.

Now you can "move along"

Hey if you believe that JJ can lead this team to a NC that's fine but I dont. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I am. We've heard all offseason how he was ready to take the next step in his development. He's come off as real immature and insecure in the past. This incident sure doesn't help my view of him. I would say the majority of our fanbase feels the same way. We want JJ to succeed but aren't real confident he can do so.

When I find out the extent of the incident, I will make up my mind. As far as a "team leader" he has a long way to go still to be that in the coaching staff's eyes after this, simply for being involved. His teammates, who knows. It may not make a difference.

Breaking curfew isn't a big deal, getting into a fight while breaking curfew is a huge deal. When it all shakes out, people can form their opinions.
