"Watching Coleman 's high school film, he handled the ball, shot the 3, played down low because he had to with his height and ability and did everthing else.. JJ is lucky to have a player so unselfish. His chance is at SG in the NBA, Europe , etc. yeah i know many people gonna say noway '"

This was my post 12/1913 and I still stand by it. Coleman.has been the sacrificial lamb, it time to let him play where he can make some money in his future and help the team at LSU now..

Metts gone with his freshman blaming, cement shoes ,3 pick first half-season killing. It'll turn around now, they'll start staying.

. Watching Coleman 's high school film, he handled the ball, shot the 3, played down low because he had to with his height and ability and did everthing else.. JJ is lucky to have a player so unselfish. His chance is at SG in the NBA, Europe , etc. yeah i know many people gonna say noway but Coleman's not that far off from a pro SG with some practice and focus on the position, but its not gonna happen, because Hickey and Stringer got the chemistry going for now.
If Martin has size, coordination, a good shot and guickness, he probably just needs to be coached up on what to do according to where he is on the court
(distance from goal) and where the defender is (close up or dropped back). After he learns and practice that the tentativeness will be gone.
Would Starting M.Morgsn and Hickey be that big of a drop off instead of Quarterman and Stringer. Seems that Hickey steals bring easy lay ups, instead of relying on if Sringer's hot.Not knocking Stringer, he can bring another boost off the bench. And Morgan gives some size at guard. But is Morgan not qood enough, shooting etc
?

Mett's first half performance against Furman sealed AJ fate for this season probably.AJ probably going to start next season with hardly no playing time. Mett you better not screw up the rest of the season to or, you'll look like a plant.
Nick trying to control potential team morale dips, and boost subs glory moments.i never had a reason to like him but see where hes coming from on this on.
After the second pick the Ole Miss game, what harm would have it been. I realize that would have been a bit surprizing pulling him a possession or two, early in the game. But how harmful or helpful overall would a bold move like that have been.I know the D was a factor but Mett older and shoulders more accountability, but also still got some developement to get.
Metts got two more quality opponents to prove his worth.Hope he does but so far the pressure defense and prezsure situations results say hes got to stud up
Ole Les probably got all his money invested in one stock that s shaky in crucial times to
The all potent offense could't get 60yards for
a field goal to stay alive or 80 yards for a TD,with nearly 2minutes,but its everybody elses fault. Adds up to a big glorious lost
Don't understand why the Jefferson family have desire to attend LSU,in the first place. Man, it 's time to move on. Football, training, traveling and school is hard enough ,don't need to living under a microscope and hammer.
Where was AD in all of this? Probably hanging around the paint. But he should be always thinking and preoccupied with beating somebody for position. Yeah, holding position is tough for slender type body, but what he has to do his Swat REAL Low, because they are using/pushing his upper body to move his feet from the position he's trying to hold.Swatting low also stops them from moving forward toward the rim. And also he should try to keep the ball live by tapping it up ,if he cant get position, but position should ALWAYS be on his mind. This was Dennis Rodmans mentality. This could get him somewhere until learns the game.
I haven't been able see his hook close up. Does he put a good amount of spin on it? A good amount of Spin is the key to the jump hook and sweeping hook. Because in order to spin it ,the arm automatically is made to be straight up. Spinning dictates straightning of the arm (elbow under the ball). If he learns to take one bounce and two steps across the lane and SPIN. it up, he would be dangerous.
And the time he got his shot blocked a few games ago- he just needs to realize when you turn (at a stand still)with the shooting arm-turning in first . You're not able to stun or knock back(got to feel defender initially) the defender-like you can do,when you turn/lead with the arm that you're not shooting with. The reason it was blocked the defender had space to see what AD was about to do and he had time to jump and put a hand in balls path.
When turning with shooting arm in first situation, the pump FAKE is the thing to do.
There's another way to hand that if your got Shaq type lowered
shoulder and hands.

Losing a heisman finalist, injuries on the oline, a fumbling new QB in beginning of seasom, a QB who could not deal with one easy throw-but pressurized moment in the bowl-is a lot to hinder a coach. Still only 2 really bad fumbles ,2 defensive play mishaps and1bad but easy pass, from being undefeated.

If everybody would shut up including a ''team leader''the players will come and stay.

When Les seemed to be going to UofM, you know how uneasy the atmosphere was .This years offense was more of playing the hand CLM was dealt. He had 5 game killers/ that easily
shoudn't have happened-at the most inopportune times.

Good pool players can make long straight-in shots with thier eyes closed, because its all about the correct and disciplined shooting form -not just FEEL.A guy like Carmouche probably don't know nothing about shooting with correct form and doing it on every shot, he's got to FEEL right to shoot well. Like when he's playing less important games or maybe playing at home. Not trying to knock him-I was almost like him in high school. You can only do what you know.
Mett did leave a little kink in his armour, by failing to perform on the crucial 2 yard conversion, which is causing Les some grief. If he can only pass in the pocket and brings nothing else to win a game, then he can't fail on easy but crucial situations. The back-ups probably see a chance to move on the position, probably thinking they could have brought as much to the game or more. So Mett has got to bring it all. Its gonna be interesting .
Whats with J. C.,he looks stronger. He should be hoping he feels a defender on his hip/back ,when down low, then make a fast move or, turn and shoot when down low-when he feels the defender. Its simple down low-if he doesn't feel the defender close on him-then give the head and ball fake, then take him if he jumps.
Has he not been in the proper scoring situations or not aggressive enough?
Man I wish coach would try hard to get him more productive-he will be needed.

I posted this 2years ago after seeing drills on Tigerag, sorry but he was the worst looking and bad ,when he had to make quick drop backs or required to move. Cement shoes are bad but he's got boots.
