Your going to support a guy who kicks a marine in the head, while he is on the ground?
Should it matter that this guy was a Marine?
..it wasn't like the guy was wearing his dress blues out at Shady's.

there is no doubt a thread of truth in all of this and I am afraid it is going to be worse than we all want it to be for the offenders. I would not be surprised to see a couple of them charged with felonies, likely JJ being one of them. I feel awful for them, but damn, what is up with someone who can assault someone so viciously... it don't matter if he's a marine or my grandmother, it's viscous and say something about the person behind the act.

No it doesn't, it just makes it look alot worse.
In all likelyhood no one even knew the guy was a Marine.
But if everything proves to be true, JJ and whoever else was involved with the direct assault will forever be trash in the eyes of LSU fans. LSU fans rightly or wrongly put Tiger football players on a pedestal but they aren't a pimple on my arse compared to how we hold up our men in the Armed Forces.
Again I will say its likely no one even knew this guy was a marine, but most ppl won't look at it like that.

7th ward, no big deal? WTF, were talking about some players losing their scholarships. This is so bizare that most Tiger fans think this a bad dream, thinking this can't really be happening to a Coach Miles team. No big deal, come on!

To me, it doesn't matter if JJ gets cleared. He has never come off as a leader. I don't think he has the respect of his teammates either. He looked like he was about to cry at the press conference just like he pouts during every game he's played here. We won last year because of defense. If we want a NC we need someone else under center.

Will the SEC allow players with ankle bracelets to play on Saturdays.

How many players have you spoken with who told you this, or did you just pull it out of your arse?

I am so tired of people throwing the word "Marine" in there to add sensationalism. I am fairly certain the awe inspiring, angelic Marine was there doing the same thing JJ and friends were, getting fricked up and running kitty cat.

Jefferson looked very embarrassed and like he was about to cry
perhaps bc he knows he is in some trouble?

Also, if Jefferson gets cleared I really hope some of the idiots here take a long look in the mirror. I've been here since the beginning of TD and I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. It's actually quite sad
this works a couple diff ways.. Ive never seen certian people make excuses for someone like some of you do.
Its actually quite sad.
This is amazing that some people still think JJ and company are innocent victims in all of this.
The events that took place happened, and they should suffer the consequences.

I pulled it out of my arse, Jim! That is my opinion and what I perceive to be true.

What events? All we know is a fight took place. The rest is hearsay and speculation.

None of this is amusing to anybody. Put yourself in the position of the kids and their parents. Last time I checked, the only perfect person to walk this earth was nailed to the cross by his "fellow" man.
Miles also is not enjoying this situation. Between the tragic loss of his sister and the recent illness to Krag, he has been dealing with significant personal challenges on top of the football program.
In the old days, this crap may have disappeared. Today's internet world, it gets around while the situation is in progress.
I had the opposite perception of the presser that this shite was serious and has messed up some lives in the real world.
