I'm actually more encouraged than I was going into last football season.
We have some really good players, on paper, coming in, especially on defense.
I like Cain improving our RB room
I am actually ok with our entire ol leaving. I think/hope the upgrade to that group starts next year. I don't think it could get significantly worse.
I'll miss Cade York....he was special.
Brennan will do as well or better than our QB play last year imo.
So, once again, I'm being optimistic about the coming year. 8-4, 9-3 would be a pretty good first year for BK...and hopefully we begin the climb up the SEC ladder.

Lots of hungry guys wanting to prove themselves. I love that BK is placing a premium on LA guys. Kids from the boot are just built different.

If we protect the QB and Brennan stays healthy there is no limit to how good we have potential to be.Safe bet is 8-4 but a great Offense can win a lot of football games. This year with a good offense for instance we could have easily won every game from Bama through the end of season.I got this feeling in my gut that we are going to surprise a lot of people

We will need another year of portal guys in the secondary and on the lines. We are 2 years out from competing for a NC. We will have a solid team though.

That no look backwards arse pass from Min Johnson was an abomination, but that clip also clearly shows another glaring deficiency that was consistent throughout the season...

Chasen Hines was a perpetual turnstile on the O-line and probably the weakest link on an atrocious unit.

I'm excited about the quality of portal pickups, but I more excited that we now have a coaching staff that can do something with them.

I pray that MB stays healthy...The other two have varying degrees of potential, but they ain't there yet. Walker needs one maybe two years before he's ready.
Then I think he'll be awesome...

If this sets a precedent and LSU goes 8-4 or better, I'd bet you see a few of those Gump Jumpers who chose the competition, get homesick real quick. Not all 3 of those wrs will play wr or all see the field too quickly.

If you build it... They will come.....Back that is !!!

I'm even more optimistic. I think we have enough talent to win every game on the schedule. Realistically, we may lose a game or two but we ought to be undefeated when we play Bama.

Hard to do much worse and be a QB IMO.

His maturity alone will put him above last years crop.

I believe Brennan can be better

27 TDs, 60% comp, 144 rating

We all hoped he would improve from his freshman year. A lack of an OL led to a lack of a running game, which meant defenses could zone in on him. This team asked more from Max than he could give.

Again, I hope whoever we have at QB has a banner year, but to discredit his work is disingenuous.

Especially for this first year. Bring in some guys who will put some home team pride in the program.

We will come in 3rd in SECW behind Bama and A$M. Might get lucky and edge out the faggies.

I see second or third in the West. 10-2 is definitely achievable, it’ll be tough. A lot of it will depend on how the defense meshes together because we’ll have so many new starters on that side of the ball. I think the offense will be strong from the first snap, a lot of experience and most of those skill guys have all played together. Offensive line will need to get chemistry quickly but I’m not worried about that nearly as much now with CBK

Dude, you seem a tad fuzzy on the whole Floor/Ceiling dynamic.

I actually agree with you, but he really hasn't proven himself, to me at least, and he is somewhat injury prone. So, I am just hoping at this point our QB play is better from start to finish than last year, and I think our defense should be considerably better start to finish....at least that is where my optimism is based.
