I didn’t envision coach O fielding a NC team..so what do I know? But with the recruiting…mainly Bryce Underwood..yes…yes I can.

If he doesn’t get it done with the Underwood teams he should just pack up and leave when Underwood does

unimaginative offense

Please. I can’t think of a more unimaginative offense than the Les Miles days. And that guy did win the national championship. So yes, I think BK can win one here.

Yes. He took over a program that the previous moron ran into the ground. As you stated, only 2.5 seasons in and a killer 2025 class on its way.

The fact that we can't run the ball is fricking disgusting to me

Yes. Championship teams seem have a certain chemistry and identity. Burrow was unquestionably the leader of the 2019 team and the chemistry was great and that Texas game set the table. Players drive the extra effort to be great. After practice work, keeping out the rat poison, focus…..Program culture is important and while the roster is being built through recruiting, we’ll see that type of team emerge again.

I think he can.

He came in and took over a program in complete disarray... 9-3.

Year 2, the talent isn't back to pre-2020 levels, and the defense goes completely in the tank... 9-3.

Year 3, you have to completely rebuild your defensive staff, you had to replace your OC who moved on, you lost the Heisman QB and a pair of 1st rd WRs, and your recruits aren't yet having big impacts... on pace for 9-3 again, with a legit shot at 10-2 and playoffs.

We haven't seen the upswing seasons yet, where you have a solid group returning and a good class coming in. Once those start happening, I can see 11+ win seasons, and those years are the ones you can win titles.

If Brian Kelly cannot run the ball and stop the run he will never win a natty. He needs to start there first

If he couldn't do it at ND then no one will be able to—the only person who can is Urban Myers.

My first impression would be holy crap, look at the last two guys who won, so the answer would be simple "Yes".

But then I see this NIL stuff is a different landscape to navigate than existed when those two won titles and LSU don't have the money and NIL infrastructure to compete so then I change to maybe not.

But then I see he rectified his early staff hires and now has landed some big time recruits that have us back at the top in recruiting so I'm back to - yeah, look at the two guys who won titles here before him and I am back to saying hell yeah he can...and I can envision it!!

I can. Just last years offense with either the 2022 or 2024 defense would have been a contender.

Nope. No killer instinct instilled in the team. Looks lost like Elko did on Saturday.
