Espn FPI has us with the #1 defensive efficiency in the country after past night.
Our offense dropped to #48 in offensive efficiency, but that happens when you turn the ball over 4 times...

Penalties were concerning. Overcoming them vs a good defense is tough. TFL and sacks were terrible too.

PWill leading nation in sacks with 5.

They have the defense listed as giving up 24 points. That is a bit skewed. 7 points came from Int returned for TD and 3 points came off of interception where opposing offense didn't move the ball and kicked FG. 1st team D has only allowed those 3 points.

Take away the three inexcusable turnovers and it’s 60+ point game.
Unfortunately those turnovers are a huge issue. Hopefully they can get them corrected. We have historically been a very good ball security program

Offense clearly has things to work out but if you woulda told me before the season that LSUs defense would be one of if not the best in the country and the offense wasn’t all rainbows and lollipops I would’ve taken some strong future bets on their season

And After running Jones up the middle and not working it seemed like they would’ve had plays in toward the sideline.
LA Tech defensive line was tough to run against.

Joe Sloan’s UK offense put up 209 total yards against Alabama so pretty much same level of production there as here for him.

Strong start in the first half with zero adjustments or wrinkles after halftime?

They are a ways down the list on both Off and Def. Miss St is significantly higher in both.

I had to look pretty hard to find the Ole Miss rankings. Rat Poison!
