How was the hotel? Looks really nice online.

It was nice. Too much Aggy for my tastes, but that's to be expected there.

You'll have a great time.

I remember last time I went and stepped on grass. I got so many dirty looks. It's grass if Les can eat it, I can step on it.

I married an Aggie and live in central Texas now. Like the other guy said, definitely go to the Chicken for a couple beers and dominos. Luigi’s in Bryan has solid Italian food. C&J’s BBQ is extremely solid if you wanna scratch that itch. Fuego tacos can’t be beat for drunk food.

Also, I’ll be out there tailgating on Saturday. If you find me I’ll get y’all a beer.

I second Fuegos. For a good casual meal check out Wings N More. Hullabaloo diner is also good and has a cigar lounge

Porters steakhouse and then walk around century square. North gate has a surprising amount and variety of bars.

If you want a good burger while there hit the original koppe bridge bar and grill on wellborn.

Any reality Texas A&M has the nicest fans in the SEC. You will have a good time during game day.

Like you can prove they are "nicer" than any other school. Give me a break

STTDB will be received as a serious proposition so tread carefully.

I second republic steakhouse if you can get in. Porters is ok and close to campus. Christopher’s is great with a more diverse menu. 1860 Italian. Chef is from lake Charles. But it is farther from campus.

The grass around the Memorial Student Center is part of a memorial to aggies who died in war. That is the only grass you should not walk on. Rest of the campus is fine.

In 2012, we had Aggie fans buying us shots after we beat them and asking if we had a good time in College Station. It was odd but free booze is free booze.
