Advice on going to A&M

Me and my wife (no pics) are going to college station. We are Staying at the Texas a@m conference center, Flying in Friday about 1 o’clock. We are hoping to eat a nice dinner and have some drinks, Maybe a good steak house? Then bar hop for a few drinks after. Any advice on where to go ? Recommendations ? Prolly gonna just walk around and catch a fee tailgates on Saturday. But any and all advice is appreciated.

Just stayed there for a meeting. Ate at a nice steakhouse called Porters over at North Gate. It's across campus from the hotel but a nice walk. Go grab a beer at the Dixie Chicken after dinner.

Texas A&M has the most annoying fans online but that is just for show.
In reality Texas A&M has the nicest fans in the SEC. You will have a good time during game day.
