Achane won't risk aggravating his injuries with his NFL career about to start
I agree. Nothing to play for, including Jimbo, and a stalled offensive gameplan.

If he does play Achane is to be feared if healthy. He's that good. But there's no reason to be worried that much because that what the defense is for and ours has been taking care of business... consistently.

A healthy dose of fear just makes them better.

ETA: a little insight into Achane and what's going on at TAMU. Watch Achane dancing with the pimp cane after touchdown in some of these games (e.g. Ole Miss). He looks like he's in a hostage video. There's no mistaking he doesn't want to do it. But he is, because dancing with a pimp cane and not wearing sleeves is a requirement on Jimbo's team.

No way in hell he continues if he doesn't have to.

I thought he had opted out to prepare for the draft. I actually respect him wanting to play for his team, at least he aint a quitter.

But regardless, LSU about to wax that arse anyway

All these dumbasses in the comments are hilarious. Dude has averaged 5.6 ypc and 6 TDs IN NINE GAMES! We have played at least 3 RBs better than him

The fact that anybody is worried about TAMU's offense is funny AF to me.

He’s good. NFL bound after this year and an early round pick. I will be surprised if he plays much, if at all.

There are a lot of snowflakes on this board who can’t stand even hearing that any other team might be pretty good and could conceivable play us hard. They’ll call you soft for pointing out the other team’s strengths and say you are skurred or whatever because you recognize that we are playing another team. It’s wild.

I'm not convinced he will play.
Why would he? He has NFL on his mind.

If it was a bowl game, he would decline.
This isn't even a bowl game.

With Achane or without we'll beat them

We've already beat teams with better RBs

There are a lot of weirdos on this board who insist on giving the other team undeserved props and pretending that you’re a coach in a press conference for some bizarre arse reason, possibly because you think “underestimating the opponent” on Tigerdroppings will somehow cause us to lose the game.

A&M’s offense is dreadful, poorly coached, antiquated, and almost all of their talented players are checked out. Their defense is also very mediocre and Durkin is certainly no Elko. Oh yea, and they’re 4 and fricking 7. Please explain to me what you’re seeing to feel like people are “wild” for not pretending that they’re going to beat LSU Saturday?

If Achane plays at least we won't have to hear "we wudda won if Achane played"

We're already going to be hearing about how even though we beat them 38 to 17 they'd have won if Achane was healthy

Unless he gets hurt, and then he’s dumb for risking millions in the NFL for a meaningless game.
Jimbo should do the right, he is a top 5 RB in the draft, who hasn’t played the last few games because of injury.
