Last year before hiring him.

Offering a $2.3 million contract to someone who hasn't been a DC in 13 years...and without interviewing.
Absolute failure all around by everyone in the administration, including Woodward. That's just downright embarrassing.

I’ve heard before that Ensminger was the one that convinced Orgeron to bring Brady in after going to the Saints coaches meeting. If that’s the case, then what good hire does Orgeron get credit for?

Formal interview I could see not happening, but there is no way Orgeron and Woodward didn't have lengthy conversations with Bo about the possibility of coming over to take the DC job.

Wtf?! I wouldn't hire a janitor without interviewing him, and we hired a DC and gave him him a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract without one?!

Well it comes from Jordy, a guy with a good relationship with orgeron who is likely his source.
The sad thing was, it seemed like Jordy and Tbob were using the info as almost a good thing that this time they arent just hiring a guy like arnett, but are going through the interview process
