Denbrock isn't very creative at all.

In the first game he threw a screen to Anderson for an easy 8. So instead of going back to the same play, you never saw it again

A good oc would scheme him the ball in favorable situations. Just look how Norvell calls a game, then look at denbrock

Chris Hilton stepping up as a reliable pass catcher has also affected anderson’s involvement in the offense in addition to him replacing Lacy IMO

They REALLY need to work the WRs on blocking for screens. It’s been terrible and those plays could be deadly for us. .

On offense we have lots of playmakers, whose opportunities are you going to cut to give him more chances?

And, with Daniels at QB, he takes a lot of the opportunities already.

Not everyone is going to shine as a freshman. That doesn't mean he won't shine later.

He's been a block away from busting a big play several times but our TE/WR blocking outside has been horrendous.

It’s ball skills and football savvy that make a guy like Malik Nabers great. Aaron Anderson is a guy with great quickness and speed, but if he doesn’t have the ball skills and football savvy he’s just another fast quick guy.

What have you seen in only 3 games that tells you this?

This isn’t madden. Coaches watch film. You can’t just keep running the same play out of the same formation

If memory is correct, it was Mac Markway who missed the block.

I think it would have been a big gain with Mason Taylor blocking. Freshman TE is learning though.

Look I'm not trying to stir the pot but he reminds me of Jonathan Giles. We were told both were electric but during the games it looks like they are running in quicksand.

I agree, Norvell is very good and he is compensated for it.

Going to get more targets as defenses focus on Thomas and Nabers more. Him and Hilton should start to get favoring matchups and opportunities.

He was rated the #1 Player In Louisiana for the class of 2022. Returned 5 kick offs for Td's . Excelled on the track also.

Ya, he's probably slow!

I'm not saying you have to run it out the same formation.

You can run 5 or 6 different types of screens. The point was he got easy, positive yardage and never went back to Anderson.

He doesn't put players In easy positions. He isn't imaginative. Defend him if you want.
