A snapshot of Alex Bregman in 2025

He's off to a hot start. Taking a look at where he ranks in MLB as of this morning:
Runs - T8 with 23
Hits - T2 with 42
Avg - 8th @ .326
2B - T1 with 12
HR - T22 with 7
RBI - T7 with 26
Total Bases - 3rd with 75
OBP - 18th @ .397
SLG - T9 @ .581
OPS - 6th @ .979
WAR - T4 @ 2.0
He's also a two-time All-Star, Golden Glove winner, Silver Slugger winner, and owns the MLB record for post-season HR (19) by a 3B.
It's early but if Bregman can maintain this kind of production for a few more years, get his career WAR above 60 (39.6 currently), he'll be in the conversation for the HOF.

I believe it’s the first time in his career that he hasn’t had a slow start

If he can stack on a couple more awards and a World Series I think he’s in HOF

Very good numbers from the best SS in school history.

Ranked a little low in HRs. Needs to pump those numbers up..

Well he was in a horrible slump the first 10 days of the season

If not the first time there have not been many....typically starts very slowly. We're not even 1/4 through the season yet, so we'll see but I'll be honest I thought he was still a good player but declining. If he keeps this up he'll be telling me - "not so fast my friend".

Love Bregman. All-time great Tiger. No chance he gets in to Cooperstown. If he did, hypothetically of course, the honor is of being a hall of famer is diminished. Numbers aren't there, the other metric of being one of the best two at your position in all of mlb for an 8+ year stretch isn't there.

Post season records do not mean crap anymore. They use to play 7 games at the max.

If he holds on to a .300+ BA for the entire year…it will be his first

Who tips the pitches in Boston? Do they use a garbage can like the cheating Astros?

He already has two World Series rings. I suspect he is good there.

he might get in the hall of very good, maybe even the Hall of Very, Very Good, but highly doubt hes in the HOF (I hope im wrong). maybe there will be a veterans committee that picks him tho.

Scott Rolen is in the HOF at 3B.
ABs career numbers aren’t Rolen’s yet, but he could finish very close them depending on how much longer he plays.

They won’t let him in because he’s a cheating sob

I love Bregman like the rest of us do, but he's not making the HOF.

No probably not but he's still in his prime and if his move to Boston is a catalyst for 6 or so more years with the kind of numbers he's putting up early this year (and that's probably not likely either) I believe he'll be in the conversation even if he falls short.

If he has 4-5 more years of All-Star caliber play (@4+ WAR), it will indeed be an interesting HOF discussion.
