Damn, Baker had to play DB? I knew we were short some players but damn…

Baylor’s “mediocre” QB had the same number of TD passes as Nuss with a third less INTs. He also had a higher avg yards per completion than Nuss.

Reminder, BBaker didnt recruit any of these players. He just played the hand he was dealt and still improved the defense substantially over last year.

From a bottom 10 defense to a below average defense. Let’s see the big leap next season. But the inability to get pressure on the opponent’s QB is insane. And the WRs are wide open.

Stamps pretty much proved he isn't an SEC starting caliber CB. But as you stated, the pass rush was pathetic. I expected that Swinson would have a good game...he did squat. Of the DL, IMO LSU really missed Suggs who could give that push up the middle. All Robertson had to do was to step up in the pocket because LSU had 0 push up the middle and Swinson and Jones and whoever from the end spots just got pushed to the outside.

Agreed. I was surprised by Swinson and Jones lack of pass rush. Did Dom get a lot of snaps?

The past tense of "throw" is "threw", the past participle is "throwed", as in "throwed rolls".

They had their whole roster and were favored to win . We get a whole bunch of new players next year . We have to see how the team gels as the season progresses . BK has a whole lot of work to do getting all these new guys to play as an organized unit ( but everybody has these issues nowadays ).BTW , has the BAMA fan base burned down the coach’s home yet ?

You mean admit that Sage and Burns probably would’ve allowed another TD or two due to horrible angles and missed tackles?

Yea I’m glad those two weren’t on the field or LSU may have lost

How can some of you fake fans not crack open a beer and enjoy a win.
Dudes were whining about special teams after a missed extra point, after a kick return touchdown.

I love my Alma mater, but the fanbase is lousy with miserable fricks.

They threw 51 times against soft coverage (agree this is on Baker) in a bend not break scheme. There is a reason a very average safeties in Burns and Ryans started all year. We just dont have anyone much better. Yet. Not sure it was the best game-plan against Baylor, but they couldn't run the ball for shite against us, and we made them work for every score.

It sucks but it wasnt 2020 or 2023 level of suck. By a longshot.
